Big Scam

So they claim to protect you for the year you file. Sadly after filing for many years without issue. My 2023 filing had an issue, now they are asking for $1200 to protect me because irs was too slow to report a problem... My protection is expired! It is common for IRS to take over 12 months to actually tell you something was wrong. So basically anyone who pays them is wasting money, almost no actual auditing happens within the first year. They just make you feel like you have peace of mind but give you nothing in return!

disappointed

Well, first it takes a long time to get in contact with the audit/tax specialist. We opened our file on June 2nd and we didn't get to speak to someone until 2 weeks later. Meanwhile we are accruing interest with the state. We were told a problem with turbo tax that caused our taxes to be filed incorrectly. Audit does not help with fixing the situation just only telling you what they think went wrong. You have to navigate between Turbo Tax and Tax Audit to get help. Tax Audit doesn't even give you time to get back to them with questions they want to hurry and close your file right away. Just bummed and honestly disappointed in the service for the price.

Dealing with the IRS can be nerve-racking, and when you receive a notice from them its no picnic. I had to amend my taxes due to an error on my part. I have amended my taxes on my own before, but this time I felt uncomfortable, so I reached out to TaxAudit which I paid for when I filed my taxes with TurboTax. From beginning to end they were very professional. Savannah my case manager made me feel at ease, was completely understanding and was very knowledgeable. Long story short-my taxes were amended and the IRS accepted the corrections and my case was closed.
