People were very helpful, polite and accommodating, Very pleasant for such an unpleasant thing as taxes.

Deceitful Practice

I paid Tax Relief Helpers to communicate with IRS regarding a letter that I received pertaining to an existing agreement. They charged two thousand dollars upfront to follow up with the letter. Tax Relief Helpers did not address this matter. Tax Relief Helpers came up with a solution asking me to pay them an additional 25 thousand dollars to resolve a matter that I did not have to. it. I had to get a tax attorney who resolved it under two thousand dollars. Tax Relief Helpers deceived me and they used scare tactics to get more money from me. The matter was simple and they tried to make it look complicated so that I would pay more. I would not recommend them.

Run, don't walk!!

This is the most horrible experience I have ever had. I have had the run around trying to find someone to help me with my case and the staff does not convey the truth and you will be ignored every time you contact them. I was never recommend this service to anyone. This is clearly a scam and they will keep your money even if you work out a payment plan with the IRS - you will be screwed because the IRS will come after you. Now, I have no other choice but to hire an attorney to help me retrieve my initial deposit of over $16,000. Do not be fooled by the website. Do yourself a favor and workout your tax liabilities directly with the IRS. NEVER USE THIS SERVICE!!!

There's a lack of communication and and professional performance

There's a lack of communication, no one returns call. I'm unsure where account stands. Further more, I was told that you would put a stop to the IRS from deductions. They have been deducting monthly $153.00. I sent in my bank statement and reported to you several times. A few months have passed and nothing has been done to correct this situation. I received no call or updates.

I had a great experience with Ben Fargo at Tax Relief Helpers. He was empathetic to my situation, took time to explain everything clearly, and is very responsive when I call or text him. I truly felt supported throughout the process and would absolutely recommend working with him and his team.

RUDE

I called explaining my situation to see if they could possibly help or handle my type of issue before going into a bunch of details. The RUDE guy stated it would be about $500 just to get in and can I do it. As I was talking telling him let me think about it and was finishing the reason why, (which was not a money issue) he hung up the phone. THAT WAS SO RUDE, UN CALLED FOR AND UNPROFESSIONAL!! I was trying to say that I would need to know if they could handle that type of issue and do the investigation before just giving out money for someone to tell me they are not able to do it. WHY would I want to deal with or recommend a company like that when you ALREADY show your character and don't want to help. That whole NO COST CHAT and tell you about your options for free on their home page is a LIE! He went straight for the money.

I have been getting different answers…

I have been getting different answers every time I call. I paid this company 990 a month, and my taxes still has not been taking care of. It’s my own fault for the situation I am in, but when you pay for a service you expect results. I am beyond pissed. I paid them all that money on top of the IRS withholding over 33,000 dollars from my check. I am in a very bad situation right now. THANKS TAX RELIEF HELPERS!!!!!

Do not TRUST and Use this company if you don't have cash on hand.

They ask me to apply for a loan paying to them to make sure the loan pay the IRS after settlement. They could not negotiate for paying one time with the IRS for a reduce tax owed. They can only negotiate for payment plan. I agreed with that. However, I ask for the loan to pay back to bank who approved the loan with high interest. No one response to my emails, calls. I contact customer service and they refer back to the agent who helping with the loan. He never answer my calls. Now I have to use lawyer, contact consumer affair and file complaints...Do not work with this company. Contact tax lawyer, enrolled agent...Not this company.

All the representatives I dealt with were extremely helpful cordial, and very understanding on my situation. I’m sure the team has dealt with many situations, but when you are directly going through, it was very calming, knowing that they seem to truly want to help and and they certainly did based on their explanation of what they’re able to get me down to as far as tax relief so kudos to your team and all the members on it.
