Total scam
Total scam. Based in China, nothing to do with African ancestry, which they're appropriating to sell their cheap, flimsy, low quality prints. Do not buy.

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people strongly complained that the items received looked completely different from the online pictures, featuring faded prints and poor quality materials. Consumers also reported major frustrating issues regarding their orders, noting that shipments either arrived many months late or never showed up at all. Some reviewers were not happy with the website and customer support, stating that communication channels completely failed and tracking information was inaccurate. However, some customers also noted specifically that the clothing sizes were frequently incorrect, making the delivered garments completely impossible to wear properly.

The quality is terrible, and what you receive does not match at all what you see in the pictures. The prices are unreasonably high compared to what you get. I can only recommend that you stay FAR AWAY!
I made the order over 3 weeks ago, No confirmation of delivery date or tracking number for my order. Is this a scam site i dont know but im trying to chase my order and having no joy? I will get in touch with my credit card company for a refund. Never again!! Order at your own risk guys this company needs to do MUCH better.
I ordered a shirt on Aug. 3, now it's Aug. 27 and no shirt has arrived. When I emailed the website after two weeks it said my shirt had "shipped from the originating country and is en route to its destination." Apparently aboard a rowboat. But after reading Trustpilot's reviews, maybe no shirt is better than a crappy shirt.
I sure wish I had seen these Trustpilot reviews before I ordered anything. Lesson learned.
Cheap, nasty feel, poorly defined print quality. Misleading ad as made and distributed from China. Haven’t even bothered trying it on, it’s going straight into the bin. Feeling properly scammed.
Shirt was described as cotton. Shirt that arrived had no fiber content label (is that legal?), but feels like a cheap polyesther. Rough uncomfortable feeling fabric, not good quality.
Scam. Abuse, appropriation of black culture, poor quality. Not sustainable at all.
I received my shirts. Took forever (probably because they are produced in China) but they arrived as advertised in the correct size and colors.

This company is in China and claims to be a part of the Black Community. Not sure how they do that. I ordered a dress from them om June 14, 2024 and have yet to hear anything from them about my purchase! I just sent an email (since this is the only way to contact them) and waiting to hear back about my purchase. Beginning to think they are a scam!!!
Chinese site registered in Hong Kong, HK contact address on the site, probably faking to be part of the black community just to sell. The About us page says "Theblackwear was born from a vision to celebrate and honor the rich heritage, culture, and resilience of the Black community. (...) Theblackwear actively supports initiatives that promote education, entrepreneurship, and social justice within the Black community." Explain how you support and uplift black community in China, show me the fair-trade partnerships and scholarship funds you brag about in your website, and maybe I will buy something, otherwise I'll keep thinking this is a scam just like the other 1000s Facebook ads telling made-up stories to sell some cheap polyester shirt
