The app logs out and without the pw saved creates friction in using the app. Also, when in the app it gets stuck and won’t load videos. The content in the app is great but these issues make it hard to use the app. These fixes need to be made
Hi, Tony. Thanks for the feedback. We are in the final stages of developing/testing a new app. It should be out in the first week of October. Thanks again!
Great content and east to access.
Thanks so much, Ethan! We're grateful for the feedback :)
Always informative and make you feel like a part of their team.
Thanks Sue!! We're stoked to have you on the team 😊
Mobility 101 is amazing. So much information and worth the investment.
Thanks so much, Carolyn! We appreciate the feedback 😊
The app is glitchy. I did not want to renew for another year.
Thanks for the review, Matthew.
It wasn’t clear that TRS only addressed a small component of mobility. Whilst I agree that MFR is an important component to mobility, I was looking for exercises that improve mobility while muscles are under contraction.
It looks like there might be a mistake. Sounds like you were just on on “Daily Mobility” section where we only program MFR and isometrics with simple tools that people have at home like a ball and a roller. The rest of the site is full of hundreds of mobilization ideas organized around pain, or limited ROM that take a more systems approach to restoring motion like all the banded distractions/joint mobilizations we created and wrote about in our Book Becoming a Supple Leopard. We have lots of examples of movement control drills, end range isometric shutdown drills, voodoo flossing (we invented this too), methods of decongestion, eccentric loading ideas (muscle stiffness), as well as methods where you can simply desensitize a painful area like scraping and percussion. The app also has a first in class mobility test as well as multiple weeks of programming for specific issues like feet and ankles, squats or splits! We love that people start their journey with a little soft tissue work at home, and then move into a more complete understanding of all the things they can do to make themselves feel better and move better. -Kelly
I've been using TRS on and off now for a couple of years. Have restarted my membership a couple of times and have stuck with it since the last because of how valuable the content is. However, there are still some features that I feel need to be updated for this app to truly be the best mobility app out there. First, there needs to be a better "Mobility Plan" experience. Many other apps have streaks and use a calendar to help track the user's mobility workouts. The calendar/tracker should also be customizable for the user to choose what area they will be working on that day. Second, it would be great to have background play available for these videos. If I'm exiting the app, we should be able to continue watching the video on a mini-player. Third, having a 3D diagram that shows exactly what part of our muscle tissue is being affected when doing a mobility exercise. Dr. Kelly and other instructors usually point out what areas are going to be impacted by the stretch, but it would be great to have a visual of what exactly I'm working on through a 3D diagram. Fourth, the iPad! This one's a biggy - the iPad needs a major update. First of all, the app should totally work in landscape and not force me to run the app in Portrait. The iPad can also hold more on the screen than the iPhone which would be great for things like the 3D diagram or some other tool. Another big issue is logging into the iPad when you're already logged in on the phone. The app starts to bug out and takes multiple attempts for me to finally log into the iPad if I'm already signed into the phone. These are some of the issues I have with the app. Honestly if only the first point and fourth points were taken care of, I would give this app a 9/10. Hope this helps!
Thanks so much for the *very* thorough feedback, Syed. We will have a new version of the app out shortly that will address many of those concerns. Thank you.
Excellent back protocol. Solid physiology and nice transition from recovery to restore to prevention.
Thanks Greg! We appreciate you taking the time to leave a review 👍
Excellent programme of releases with easy-to-follow videos and progressions and regressions according to your body. I did find after 4 years that I knew what worked for me and what to do, such that I no longer needed the app.
Thanks so much, Jenny! We're grateful :)
Thought I had cancelled, pretty sure I did, still got billed. Was told by customer service no refund could be given. Cancelling needs to be easier. Also the videos are not very helpful. A lot of movements call for weird, special equipment. Most of the movements amount to weird massage type techniques. Not compelling, and not something I want or need to do every day.
Hi, Tim I've reviewed your account and I'm having a hard time understanding the timeline. I'm showing you subscribed on Aug 6th for a monthly subscription with a free 7 day trial. You did not cancel during that trial. On Aug 13 at 8:40am PDT after the full 7 days, you converted to paid at $14.99 On Aug 14 at 6:10am PDT you cancelled your subscription from your "my account" page. Two minutes later on Aug 14 at 6:12am PDT, you reached out to support with a message that you had cancelled "a couple weeks back" which would have been before you had even signed up. Please help me fill in some blanks or correct me where I might have some of these details incorrect. Thank you for the review.
Thank you for the feedback!
Stop blowing up my email. Especially after I unsubscribed.
Hi, Miki a) I'm showing that you unsubscribed from our email on 8/13 and that we haven't emailed you sine. b) I recognize that you're frustrated, though, this isn't really a product review. Regardless, thank you for taking the time to leave the review. Be well.
So far I am finding that the various routines are very effective in decreasing pain and increasing range of motion. We are traveling and have only been home for a week. I can't have all of the tools (rollers, lacrosse ball, etc.) with me all of the time so I am having a bit of trouble getting in a routine/flow. I currently have a tweaked hamstring which carries a fair amount of discomfort. I have found that I can do a few routines and make it through a round of golf. Interested to see as I heal if I can avoid these injuries in the future.
Thanks so much for the review, David! We're grateful!
Endless videos. I love the filter to search for different body parts and time. I was intimidated by 20-30 minute long videos but they go by so fast and there is so much knowledge packed in them.
Thanks so much for the review, Whitney! We're grateful for you :)
Love my daily maintenance and how TRS prepares me for basketball and for my other workouts🙏 Its a lifetime commitment for me
That's awesome, Matt! Thanks so much for taking the time to review. We're grateful 😊
Ordered online and received my package right away!
Thanks for the review, Angelo! We're grateful for you :)
I loved the App. I really liked the accountability in the timing and just letting myself get guided. However, as a University student with no cash, I cannot pay subscriptions to everything. It is a great tool, which deserves to get cash, but I just don’t have it right now. Therefore I will not be purchasing it anytime soon, as I have the supple leopard at home. I also find it sad (but understandable) that there is no more Freemium. I remember with using gowod for a while, you could at least get the movement’s instruction videos unpersonalized.
Thank you for the feedback, Talita! We appreciate it :)
I'm into my third year as a member and can't see myself without it. While I maybe haven't made the improvements I would have hoped I know the regular use has improved my day to day lifestyle. I use the app every time i excessive either to warm up or cool down.
Thanks for the review, Ryan!
The content is good but the app isn't. I can't reliably use it at the gym without it hanging up. It also makes me log in again almost every time. Even when I download a workout, I can't always get it to play.
Thanks for the review, Danielle. We hope to have a new app out soon!
