Working with Jim VanCamp (Cornerstone Custom Shutter Installation) to install 7 pairs of Timberlane Endurian shutters on my 1810 Bucks County stone house was fantastic - Jim is exceptionally knowledgable, efficient, honest, communicative and easy to work with. I'm grateful that he took the time to explain the process, what accessories would be historically accurate, and then got the job done swiftly. I have been excited about this project for quite some time and am grateful for such a positive result - they look absolutely fantastic. 100% would recommend and will absolutely use again for future projects.

Purchased and Installed shutters 5…

Purchased and Installed shutters 5 years ago on my house and the hardware that was sold to me with the shutters is severely failing. All rusted and protective paint/coating is peeling off etc. Was very surprised and reached out directly to see if anything could be done as they seem to be defective. One would assume hardware would last longer than five years. 11 pairs of shutters and all hardware is failing the same way. After reaching out I received a simple and short response of "sorry but we have a 1 year warranty on our hardware. For this reason there is nothing we can do". Rather dissapointing to say the least, so I thought I would share my experience, since replacing the hardware on my house is not going to be quite as simple as the generic response I received. My response to your reply below: Before you made this response you tried to claim through TrustPilot that I was not a true customer and that I did not have an authentic experience with your company. After providing a receipt and e-mail correspondence that matched my statement in my review, my posted review has remained as authentic. Once that effort to have it removed by you failed you have responded in writing two weeks after my review only to tell me that I should have read the fine print to realize that the product you were selling me was low-quality. I do not think this is a good defense to selling something that is not adequate or up to the standards of your shutters or your statement "about 26 years of high-quality". The hardware I purchased was recommended and paired with my shutters on your website. It is best to just accept responsibility versus blaming it on the customer. No one hanging shutters on a house should accept the fact that the hardware would rust and start failing after just 5 years.

Timberlane did a very fine job Helping me with the selection and shipping over 1000 miles…Loved the product…The installation and sizing of the shutters by Jim van Camp/Cornerstone Custom Shutters was outstanding…The attention to detail by Jim and his associate Louie was impressive…Knew from the moment I spoke to Jim that he would do a great job…Hope I have another chance to work with them one day…They drove 1000 miles each way to install for me…Outstanding service!!!

From start to finish the experience with Timberlane was phenomenal. The shutters arrived well protected and the person installing them could not stop giving praise to the aesthetic and the quality. While the shutters were being installed, several neighbors stopped to rave about the way they made my home look and especially the decorative hardware. My new Timberlane shutters are the perfect finishing touch on a comprehensive renovation. I could not be more thrilled with the finished look.

From start to finish both the sales team and the installation crew were responsive, professional, and effective. We especially appreciate that the sales process included an opportunity for the installer to come to our house to make precise measurements and evaluate the house. It turns out that the installers expert eyes caught certain issues that we didn’t realize and, based on his recommendations, we adjusted the type of installation we would have. In the end, the shutters went up well and look fantastic. We are very happy with the overall result.

First, the shutters and hardware are of great quality. They will likely out live me. Jonathon at Timberlane was very professional to deal with throughout the process. But the experience of working with Jim (and Lou) from Cornerstone Custom Shutters was bar none. You never appreciate the expertise that goes into the installation of shutters on an historic home until you watch it happening. My new shutters were nothing less than a total facelift on the house. I appreciate what a pleasure it was to work with Jim. One of my dogs loved him so much he wanted to go home with him!
