A whole grade year lost

Paid for a whole year, then monthly. I had banking issues and reached out. They didn't even wait 30 days before canceling and deleting all of my child's history. I requested the data back just so I had something to show and they deleted it with a pathetic excuse that I should be printing reports. If I wanted to print everything I'll just buy a book based curriculum. So the money went to waste, a year's worth of schooling and grade taking which they feature as a plus... gone. Don't waste your money or time on them. They keep making changes anyway on the dashboard that make it a nightmare to customize.

this is wild to me.

this is a 12-15 yo teen that has been using this since 2020, this is TERRIBLE. for 1 they use ai, and subtitles in the middle of the screen and it is distracting. 2 the price, 80 DOLLARS!? for this site? no. it sucks. I can't have a break, and I have to do a lot of stuff cause I hated it. this RUINED my life. this needs to be taken down, and I have poor mental health so it doesn't help if i was a parent I would not go to this. my parents don't listen cause they saw the ads for this and it sucks. my LITTLE BROTHER says this is boring, it RUINED MY HEALTH CONSTANTLY FREAKING OUT OF A BAD GRADE CAUSE OF THIS! I HATE IT! PLEASE TAKE THIS DOWN!

Feels like a scam

I have been using time4learning for over two years. However, this coming year I decided I’m going to be switching to a tutor despite this almost being an unaffordable option for me. As a foster parent, I just wasn’t able to reach around with homeschooling. I had no idea that my credit card was on auto pay with time4learning and next thing I knew I had been billed for a years worth of school. It never crossed my mind that they wouldn’t refund the money. I called in this morning and they absolutely refused. I will never be logging into time4learning this year and accessing the curriculum and yet I am paying hundreds of dollars for it. I would not recommend time4learning just because of this. If this is their policy, it should be made abundantly clear and it was not. I am disappointed that a company would take money that is not theirs.

A waste of time and money!

Absolutely terrible editing, waste of money and time, and their facebook page won't let me post anything about it because they don't want negative reviews. Specifically, their cinema series, the reason we decided to use this curriculum, is extremely poor quality. So many lessons are raw and unedited. Meaning, my child has to sit through a teacher messing up their line, practicing saying it, talking with production crew that are off camera, etc. It's unbelievable. I thought it was funny the first time, but then it happened over and over. It seems nobody thought basic editing was important. Instead of a high quality lesson, my child has to sit through minutes of watching an actor practice their lines. This might be helpful if he had an interest in becoming a B actor, but he's just trying to get through math and language arts.

Customer service is a joke

Customer service is a joke. We had canceled our subscription 2 months ago then they randomly charged my account again and restarted our subscription. When I emailed about the issue I got the generic response of "we are sorry to see you go. We will cancel your subscription" then another email stating that they apparently didnt get confirmation that I had canceled before and they dont issue refunds. So 100% buyer beware! They WILL charge you after you request to cancel randomly. We will not be going back to them again.

It is absolutely disappointing and…

It is absolutely disappointing and frustrating that I would be automatically charged when you all are perfectly aware that my son has not been using the curriculum. He is autistic, and we were hopeful last year that this may be a reasonable option. So we already paid for a year of service we didn’t use- now I’m charged for another year and told I cannot be refunded even though I canceled it the day after the automatic payment was drafted. It’s infuriating, saddening, and disappointing. I suppose that’s why the services are set up this way, so no one uses it and you still get paid before they realize you took their money.

Do NOT recommend !

We just completed a full school year, grades K, 3, and 7. I would not recommend this program to anyone. We had constant issues with glitches and technical problems, and they have absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. The curriculum wasn’t thorough, and definitely wasn’t complete. I taught public school for five years, and would not be comfortable using this as the sole curriculum for my kids. We had to supplement substantially. The instruction for many subjects was poor, and my kids would complete assignments only for them to not be marked complete or graded, despite doing everything advised to keep that from happening. I had issues with billing and customer service was no help. My children didn’t find the curriculum engaging. There are two other comparable programs that we are trying now that are MUCH better so far. If you are considering Time4Learning, I would keep looking! There are great options out there. If you are looking for a program where you will have support when needed, Time4Learning is not it. They do not care about the students, families, or the many problems you will encounter— their only concern is getting their monthly payment.

Terrible customer service-no refunds

Well, while searching for curriculum, my YouTube ads prompted me to look into Time4Learning. Google AI said that I could get a refund withing the first 14 days of a month subscription, So I signed up for 2 children (bad idea). It was horrible to set up, and the videos were not loading. It took a long time to get up and running. Because AI was wrong and they had changed their refund policy 3 months ago, I was denied a refund of nearly $75 despite writing 4 emails and speaking with a supervisor. All the emails say "Let us know how we can help" without helping at all!! Most curriculum will refund unused physical books or give a trial period online. My children only completed 3 lessons together, and despite writing my initial email very quickly to ask for a refund, I only got "Wish I could help, but sucks to be you!" replies in my inbox. I will say that Outschool was great to me about refunds! They had such better customer service!!

I was very disappointed with my experience with Time4Learning. As a parent, I expected more understanding and support when I reached out for help. Instead, I felt that my concerns were dismissed and that the company was unwilling to work with me to find a fair solution. The lack of flexibility and customer support left me feeling frustrated and undervalued as a customer. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not recommend Time4Learning.

Ehhh..

I like that my kids can work at their own pace....when the website let's them. It constantly will not load assignments and many times they have to redo exams and assignments because it shows they didn't do them, when I fact they did. So instead of moving on. They are stuck in place. And I do not like that we missed 1 payment and ALL of their progress was deleted. With no proof any schooling had been done throughout the year. It has potential to be really good. Just a lot of little bugs.

SAVE YOUR MONEY NOT USER-FRIENDLY ON IPAD

I purchased this for my Kindergartner and second grader for the summer. It states that it can be used with an iPad or a computer. The interface is not user-friendly on an Apple IPAD. The buttons and icons are either too small or disappear in the footer, and you have to constantly adjust the zoom with your fingers. Also, it's hard to tell which modules have been completed when you try to move to the next module because the green check mark does not show up as soon as you have completed the module. I purchased and it was not worth the money. I cancelled and requested a refund within 24 hours of purchase, only to be denied. They refused and sent me the terms of service. They do not give refunds, so I just wasted $78.00. I recommend finding another platform. I would not buy this. SAVE YOUR MONEY>

this sucks

was really disappointed with Time4Learning . The lessons felt repetitive and outdated, and the platform was frustrating to navigate. There were frequent glitches that interrupted progress, and it didn’t keep my child engaged at all. Customer support was slow to respond and not very helpful when issues came up. For the price, I expected a much better learning experience. I wouldn’t recommend it based on our experience.

Time4Learning charged me $570 for an annual subscription without my knowledge and without appropriately notifying me. They say they don't refund yearly subscriptions. Shady, unethical business practices. I hope other parents are warned. Also, after charging us that huge amount, they finally did cancel us and we are unable to even use the platform! Beyond annoying and deceptive.

This one hurt.

My 11-year-old had been diligently working through Time4Learning's curriculum every school day since September — a full school year of effort, all documented digitally. When a payment failed in April, I updated my card and paid immediately. A couple of weeks later, her account was locked. I paid again, not realizing it had opened a brand new account. Every assignment, every lesson, every bit of progress from the year, gone. When I called customer support (after waiting on hold for about 10 to 15 minutes), the representative offered no solution. Because I hadn't called to formally "cancel the cancellation," they had deleted everything. She acknowledged I'd paid twice. She pointed me to the terms of service. I had to sit down with my daughter and tell her that her entire year of work no longer existed. For a homeschool family, that record isn't just sentimental — it's how we build annual progress reports. Now I'm piecing together what I can from memory and the few physical worksheets we kept. I understand a company needing to protect access when payment lapses. What I can't understand is permanently deleting a family's academic records with no grace period, no warning, and no path to recovery once the account is paid and reconciled. That's not a policy that says you value your customers, especially the homeschool families who depend on you. I wanted this to work. It didn't. I can't recommend it.

Student Review

Writing this review as a student who used Time4Learning since early 2021 and am now moving on to Graduation Alliance instead. I've been using T4L as a way to self-educate as the traditional classroom setting didn't work well for me. Considering the fact I was in control of my own education, I wasn't aware of the importance of accreditation! If your high school child is serious about pursuing a higher education, please point them to another program that is actually accredited and will offer more services to prepare them for college. In addition, T4L updated their courseware from Edgenuity to Subject.com, and I honestly preferred Edgenuity far better. Subject.com seems to implement more AI into their material, and when it comes to educational courses I feel AI shouldn't be heavily incorporated especially for a paid subscription. Lastly, I don't know whether any of the assignments are graded by real people. Not being able to receive valuable feedback from an educator made me feel as if I wasn't growing academically. Parents, please do the research and find a dependable program that will ensure your child's future success.
