"The museum-quality fossils I ordered arrived incredibly well-packaged and looked even better in person than they did in the photos. I really appreciated the detailed authenticity certificate and data sheet, which gave me total peace of mind about the provenance. Dealing with John was a pleasure—he is clearly an expert who cares about his collection and provides top-tier customer service."
I recently made a high end purchase of a large Trilobite assemblage and two large ammonite plates. All of the fossils I received were outstanding and could easily be considered World Class specimens. The Trilobites are absolutely beautiful and have become the cornerstone of my Collection. Equally important was the Customer Service that I received. I was assisted by John who demonstrated the utmost professionalism and genuine interest in assisting me with this project. John's communication, shipping recommendation (specimen sizes required Crating) and overall attention to detail made this an Outstandingly pleasant experience that I've grown accustomed to when dealing with Time Vault Gallery. I would not hesitate to recommend Time Vault Gallery as a Premier Purveyor of Exceptional one of a kind fossils and artifacts.
The Pre-Columbian sash belt I received was as described and very well packaged. I recommend Time Vault Gallery.
The Chimu / Chancay textile assemblage I received goes far beyond my expectations. I am in love with this little treasure. Thanks!
i have always received excellent service and all questions are answered very quickly. The fossils I have purchased have exceeded my expectations in quality and price. An excellent place when looking for fossils to add to any collection.
I'm so glad that you had these little treasures. And you prepare and pack them so well! I confess to a need to control my heart rate while I unpacked the little rascals, but I completed the task with no damage done. I will routinely review your offerings. Thanks so much. Len McGlothlen, 6/5/2023
As a repeat customer of Time Vault Gallery, I appreciate their personalized, no-pressure, and knowledgeable expertise. John and his peers, have always made the purchase of their artifacts friendly, courteous, accurate and expeditious. Their inventory includes many pieces from different time periods, different cultures and societies therefore, there is an abundance of pieces to appeal to everyone even as their personal interests grows or changes as time goes on!
Excellent customer service. Most importantly, Time Vault knows how to properly package and ship books so they reach the customer in mint condition.
Piece arrived just a described. It's perfect and I look forward to my next purchase.
I waited a very long time to find the right Oldowan pebble tool from Africa for my African display. I found a really nice one at timevaultgallery. The basalt cobble the tool displays very fine windblown weathering patterns of a superior quality that is so actively sought after by collectors and researchers. The provenance is solid and indisputable.
I’m really pleased with my purchases (four items), which were even better than as pictured, and arrived promptly. Before purchasing, I left a voice mail with a few questions, and John called back promptly to answer them and provide more background information. I will definitely be checking back from time to time for new items.
I've always preferred purchasing an item "live", but my confidence in making purchases from Time Vault Gallery has grown over time. Rare, quality, genuine, artifacts, with a true, verifiable history, at an acceptable price, delivered exactly as represented, quickly and certainly........every time. Excellent service to an esoteric market.
Fossil was shipped within a short time of making the purchase. Fossil arrived in a display box and was exactly as described - a high quality specimen of a rare Cretaceous mammal tooth. Extremely satisfied with all aspects of this transaction. Time Vault Gallery is a professional source for quality specimens, and I hope to do business with them again.
Reliable site, excellent artifacts. My only suggestion is having an option to have your artifact sent in a display box or maybe selling display boxes on the side. My handaxe was wrapped in bubble wrap, and while it was perfectly okay, it made me a little nervous. Great company, very satisfied!
Thanks for the great review. I think we're one of the few companies that includes a free display case with most items if one fits. The big issue is they must make a display case that fits the specimen. For most hand axes, they don't make a deep enough case for the thickness of the hand axe unless you go with a briefcase size box, which would not look right.
Wonderful products that are aesthetically pleasing as well as true to their descriptions. Time Vault seems to curate their offerings more than some online fossil companies, making it easier for someone like me who doesn't want to dig through hundreds of marred pieces to find what I'm looking for. Highly recommended.
Everything is as described, all the time! Packing is wonderful and safe.
I don’t remember the exact date of delivery, but service and timing of delivery was great. From the site description, I knew the fossil would be tiny, and it was, but you could see the root on the half tooth well, and the authentication certificate explaining what it was made the gift special. The only thing I would say was that I was a bit disappointed with the presentation. It was a gift for my 11 year old grandson who is really interested in paleontology. Since the fossil is tiny and looks like a rock, I needed some way to enclose it with the certificate so that it wouldn’t just get “lost” when my grandson wanted to handle it. I solved my problem with a shadow box displaying the fossil case and the certificate together. If that could be a purchasing option, I’d certainly be for it!
Thanks for the helpful review, Sharla. Since we never know the intended end use for a purchase, it would be difficult for us to second-guess a different display method beyond the included display case that you received the tooth in. Some customers do not even want a display case, believe it or not even though we include one at not charge. We do have larger cases that could have accomplished what you ended up doing with the shadow box but again, we were not notified, and maybe it might also have been difficult for you to see the end result without first getting the order. We are always available to help and advise on a purchase or the display options so please always feel free to reach out to us if you choose to return for another purchase.
Amazing gifts for the history inclined friend or family! Delivery was quicker than expected. Would buy again.
Very interesting pieces with reasonable prices. Easy ordering process and timely delivery.
An excellent selection of artifacts and fossils. Items that are not readily available anywhere else I have looked. Fast, reliable service, and easy overall purchasing experience. I have conducted business with Time Vault in the past, and I'm sure I will be doing more in the future.
