The experience was a good one from the beginning. Communication was good in the planning stage, and continued throughout. Anna was both extremely experienced and very easy to work with. She was a major reason things went so well throughout our time in Israel.
Our guide was very knowledgeable of the history of all of the sites we visited. She and the bus driver worked together to make sure our experiences was good. Some of the sites were very crowded and they rearranged the schedule to visit the site and not waste time in line. This was done very well with many sites. Thank you Ana and Amin you made my first visit to Isreal wonderful.
It was just great! Out guide was very knowledgeable and gracious. We learned a lot and did a lot and saw a lot. So wonderful to walk where Jesus walked
Where do I start? From being picked up at the airport and given a day to day schedual and being dropped off at the airport making sure we got back out heading in the right direction and everything in between. We had the most WONDERFUL, FULL OF KNOWLEGE GUIDE. She knew her history, Bible and could explaine things geological "WOW".A women who loves her country and gave us so much insite on all that happens and why. She made each day special in so many ways. What we see on the news in the states is far from what we experianced. Yes there was some activaties going on but Anna knew were to go and were not to. She was in my oppinion why this trip was 100% PERFECT!!!
Our experience with Donny at Tradition Tours was upfront and honest from the very beginning. We were so impressed with the customer care and integrity through a 2020 trip cancellation that we wouldn't have even considered going with any other company! Trip days were full from start to finish. Our guide, Anna, knew so much about all topics: religion, culture, geography, geology and more! She brought so much joy to our group and came to feel like a friend. A tour to Israel can be overwhelming. Sights and sounds are new, culture is different, emotions are high. The care that Tradition Tours took to see that we were comfortable in our hotels, on our bus, and had good food to eat made it so much easier to enjoy the trip. A tip for your planning purposes: before you go be sure that tour participants understand the importance of being able to walk and stand for several hours. These are ancient cities and there is no "work around" to see the sites. If you are unable to keep up with your group you're likely to miss out. So, start training now!
Our guide made this tour great! Very knowledgeable in all areas: Religion, History, Geography, Geology, Economics, and even Politics.
This tour includes all the must see places in Isreal including all the holy sites. We were not aware that Tradition Tours was not giving the tour, but another company in Isreal. It was a little confusing in the beginning, but once we found out the name of the tour company and met the guide, we were okay. There were 35 people on the tour and we were staying at different hotels, so we did have to drive around for a bit in the morning to pick up everyone. This is a very active tour. There is a lot of strenuous walking up hills and lots of stairs. Not everyone on our tour was physically able to make it to all the sights. The Church of the Nativity in particular was difficult, because the bus parks in a parking lot and you have to walk uphill for about 15 minutes and then climb stairs to get to the church. If you have physical limitations, this is probably not the tour for you. I would hire a private guide that can drive you close to the sites.
Donny organized a 17 day multi-country tour for four of us that went without a hitch. We originally wanted to tour Israel but then added Istanbul, Jordan, and Cairo. It seemed logical since we were going to be over there. The guides were extremely knowledgeable and spoke English well. We loved that each guide was proud of their country and wanted us to learn as much as possible. As a result, we appreciated what each country had to offer. We cruised Istanbul's Bosphorus River which divides Europe from Asia. We floated in the Dead Sea, road horses in Petra, and camels at the Pyramids. We were filled with awe following Jesus’ footsteps in Israel from the very place where he was born to the place where he died and was buried. In Egypt we stood in the cave where baby Jesus, Mary and Joseph found safety when they escaped King Herod’s brutality. And there was so very much more! We were well taken care of when traveling from one country to the next. Someone was always with us guiding us through the process. We had a private walking tour in Istanbul, a private tour via van in Cairo, a group tour of 35 in Israel and a group tour of 23 in Jordan. We chose to stay in Level IV hotels which was well worth the additional cost. Thank you, Donny, for designing a trip with a myriad of forever memories.

To start, when our trip was rescheduled and then cancelled due to covid restrictions, the owner refunded all deposits without us even asking! He was reachable and helpful in answering questions leading up to our departure. Someone was there to meet our group just after we deplaned and handed us off to our guide at the airport. Our guide was a wealth of knowledge throughout our tour & even let us know about high chance pick pocket areas. We had her phone # should we need anything and even told us we could text her to ask, "What/where was this picture about?" Some days were longer than others but our guide and driver were able to accommodate if someone needed to skip a sight. I feel she treated us as she would have her own family. She was even with us all the way to the security line at the airport. By the end of the trip it was a surprisingly sad goodbye! I would not hesitate to book again with this company.

Donny provided details on different tours, gave us time to make a decision and worked closely with us after Covid delayed our much anticipated trip to Israel and Egypt. Tradition Tours did an outstanding job in helping us see soooo many sights in the 8 days of touring we spent with our group. Donny was wonderful to work with keeping us informed of things about what to pack, what to expect, etc. which made the stay even more enjoyable. Anna, our tour guide, was a wealth of information about the history of Israel, the history of each historical sight, and customs of each of the religions. We learned so much from this trip that it truly was like the Bible coming to life right before us. It was a trip of a lifetime that was worth every minute and every penny. We would HIGHLY recommend using Tradition Tours to everyone who asks about our experience to Israel. Great job, Donny and Anna for helping to make this trip so great!
The sites visited and experienced were great. Don’t know how to cut down on the walking but less steps would be nice. Group choice of lunch choice would be nice. The group size was great and the bus spacing was good. Maybe seat rotation would be a good ideal.

It was an awesome experience. Tour itinerary was great, hotel and food are superb except at the Ramada hotel when power in our room went off few times. Had to call for service twice. Anna our tour guide is the best!!!! And was really nice of Donny for accompanying us for half a day!!! Highly recommended Tour and service!
