Looking after Shalin’s daughter was such a wonderful experience. She and her husband did treat me well by following the instructions and rules set by the agency. Working with them was great at the same time because they were calm and clear with what their expectations from me as their child’s nanny. Their daughter was smart and adorable too so it was a time well spent with her.

We had a wonderful experience with our first ever travel nanny after a family friend recommended using the Travel Nanny service. From the time that we registered on the site to the conversations with the Travel Nanny team, we felt guided all throughout until it was time to fly to Japan. Our nanny Gennifer was professional, kind, attentive, and best of all our children clicked with her immediately. She made us feel at ease from our first meeting and kept us well updated with messages and pictures. We were finally able to have a decent date night, all while traveling! We would highly recommend her and the Travel Nanny service to other families. We look forward to using the service again for future trips
During her mother’s work stay in Japan, I had the pleasure of looking after her lovely little daughter. Thanks to the pre-interview, I already knew her interests and personality, so we quickly bonded and had a wonderful time together.
Booking The Travel Nanny was super easy, and the team responded right away to our pretty last-minute request. Our nanny was so sweet, she fed our son dinner and played with him until bedtime, which gave my husband and me the chance to enjoy a little date night during our vacation. The only complaint I have is that I wish I’d known about them sooner! We’ll definitely be using The Travel Nanny again the next time we’re in Tokyo.
We had a wonderful experience with Hiromi as our nanny! She was warm, kind, and friendly, and our 2 year old daughter took to her right away. Hiromi kept us informed throughout the day, sending multiple photos every hour, which gave us peace of mind. The travel nanny process itself was a breeze, the team made everything easy, seamless, and made sure we felt comfortable with our chosen nanny. We’ll definitely be using them again.
We used the travel nanny for a parent’s night out in Tokyo. The whole service made me feel so comfortable from the responsiveness, the zoom interviews of multiple Nannie’s, all the communication and questions through out. The owner really helps you feel trust in them - mother to mother. We matched with Aimee who our 2YO daughter warmed up to right away and they had a fun night. My only regret is not using the service more!! I would recommend to anyone traveling where they offer services.
The Karcher family were great to work with. The children were very friendly and cooperative. Yulia(the mom) was very good at communicating quickly whenever I had questions. She also kept me updated about their arrival.
We were referred to “The Travel Nanny” by a trusted friend who has used their service and couldn’t be happier with their experience. Read many great reviews and decided to learn more about the process. After enrolling in their program, we were personally greeted by the County Manager of Japan. She then offered us nanny options. From there, we went with Nanny Maddie from reading her personalized resume. She had over 16 years of children experience. Maddie was beyond wonderful with our 2, 5, and 7 year old. She played and was attentive to all three kids. We were around for an hour prior to leaving. They absolutely adored her and all a great time during our quick few hours away. They played with toys, hide and seek, and Maddie even played on the switch with our 7 year old. Every kid had the right amount of attention and everyone was a happy camper. We would recommend the travel nanny to anyone parents who need some time off. Thank you to the entire nanny crew as we are very thankful for your professionalism, care and service.
I was happy to spend time with the family to assist them with their shopping, meals, and outing. To be able to help parents stay focused on their travels and experiences without worrying about their toddler is a rewarding experience.

It’s our first time hiring a nanny in a different country. So glad I found Travel Nanny! It was easy to navigate communicating with the company using WhatsApp. The team of nannies is vetted out by the owner herself. The nanny we hired in Osaka was a hit with our kids. Our kids wanted to have her again the next day! We had so much fun for a couple of hours while the nanny played and made dinner for the kids. We’ll be using Travel Nanny again when we are in Tokyo.

The whole process was easy and the team was very responsive. Our nanny Narumi was great with our toddler and 9 month old. My kids loved spending time with her while we explored the “less kid-friendly” areas in Osaka. We got some lovely photos of our kids and frequent updates from Narumi that put us at ease. I will be using this service again for our future trips. I’m hoping they expand to more countries in the near future too!
We wouldn’t have been able to experience Japan after 6pm without Travel Nanny! We brought our 16 month old on our trip, and his bedtime would have kept us in the hotel at night. The whole process was smooth and I felt reassured that this business had done their due diligence. I really appreciated the ability to interview the nanny ahead of time. She was wonderful with our little one, prompt, and very flexible with our needs. Will be using Travel Nanny again!

Eri & Mika were absolutely amazing. I wish they were here in the states. We have hyper kids and one was just diagnosed with severe ADHD and they were able to keep them engaged, played with them and the kids had a great time. So appreciative of their services, 10 stars! The owner was very communicative during the process and helped us find the right fit for our family. All around amazing!
Besides the sun being brutal yesterday which gave me an intense sunburn it was an amazing time with the Lan 'Ohana. The Mom came to Hawai'i for a client of her's... She brought her two daughters who are just as sweet as her, they're 6yrs and 8yrs. My normal Nannying shifts are about 10.5hrs, but this was by far the best 10.5hrs shift I ever worked. We took an 'ukulele lesson first thing, then spent 5.5hrs in the pools/jacuzzi, including having lunch poolside. After showers, we did some painting, the girls got popsicles, and then we designed and made Barbie dresses. We also read a cute and fun short book they brought with them. The Mom treated me to lunch (which makes sense since I was working), but she also treated me to some dinner (she invited me to actually join them, but I had to get going), and Turtle Bay has delicious food. This was actually the first time I got to meet Beverly, the CEO,"face to face," as she handled the interview this time. So that was also pretty cool.
