I LOVE this thing

I LOVE this thing. I'm CARNIVORE- and do a LOT of meat. This does everything they say it will do- perfectly. I even do cooking with a little water in the tray making the meat crispy and nice on the outside and juicy all over inside. I accidentally dropped the drawer and broke the handle- and emailed to ask if I could BUY one-- they sent me one FREE and I even admitted it was totally my fault and they still did it. They have very speedily answered every question I had too.

The only thing I would change, is the depth of the device, anything deeper than 3 inches will not fit. Like a whole chicken.

I like that it's very quiet

I like that it's very quiet. Large enough to lay out 10 wings and lots of bacon. It's taking some time getting used to dealing with a much larger pan than I'm used to when it comes to clean up time. So far it's doing a great job.

Gold Quad

I have the gold quad and love it. I especially like it when I use my outdoor smoker. I can set them in whatever I am smoking and go back into my house and monitor the temps from there. I have never had any problem with not getting a signal after the smoker door is closed or anything like that. The only problem I had was 2 probes started to lose the charge too soon. I contacted Typhur told them the problem and they sent me a brand new updated unit ( base and 4 probes). It wasn’t their fault, just faulty rechargeable batteries. They didn’t go dead but after being fully charged they just lost too much of the charge after using them. The most important thing is that Typhur backed up their product. Didn’t hassle me, make excuses, or anything like that. They initially replaced one probe with a new one, but when the 2nd started doing the same thing, they just replaced the whole thing with their new model which has some nice improved features compared to the version I had. Products like this can always have potential problems, so you need to purchase from the company that stands behind their product, and Typhur does

A reliable tool. This is truly a pleasure to work with.

This is truly a pleasure to work with. It is very accurate. I have another predicting thermometer and last night I put the two thermometers in two separate pieces of steak. Their predictions were very similar. Why I like this one, however, is that the battery is much stronger and lasts much longer. The other one I pretty much need to recharge it every time I am going to use it. The Wi-Fi connection on this is also a lot stronger also.

I bought the Typhur thermometers as a gift for my granddaughter. I have a set of two and I find them easy to set up and use. I’m sure she will like them.

It's so big.

I used it a few times. Cooked the entire frozen pizza, make toast, reheated some food and a few other things. The only downside so far is its size. It's big and I don't like it sitting on my counter so i have to take it out and back in from cabinet. I thought it would fit comfortably in my cabinet too but the handle adds a few more inches so it has to go in sideways.
