What people say

Affordability of Umidigi phones

Affordability of Umidigi phones Currently using an Umidigi A22 pro, also have a F2. The F2 battery failed after several years of constant use. I replaced the battery myself, a simple process for a complete newbe. I rarely write reviews or make recommendations as I feel I am not qualified the make suggestions given my lack of techical knowledge. However, given that I have been a user of many Umidigi phones for well over 10 years and would not purchase a phone from any other manufacturer, I will continue to support this company.

The phone itself is an amazing device

The phone itself is an amazing device. It performs very well. Has plenty of RAM and storage, and has a nice big screen. The notch was annoying at first, but I got used to it. The wireless charging works very quickly. I could charge it from 20% to 100% in under an hour. The side touchpad for the fingerprint reader is a very nice option that I wish more would go to. I was leary about the act that this is a no name Chinese company, so I found a ROM on XDA and flashed that to it to get rid of the built in apps and alleviate some of the spying fears. However, the biggest issue with this phone, and all low priced phones, is the Camera absolutely are terrible. As soon as I tried to zoom in, the picture went from OK, to horrible. I finally had enough of it and bought a Moto One Action. This Umidigi phone will be relegated to back-up phone status or as a toilet surfing device.
