botched rental
scooter is the wrong color, took super long to arrive, arrived in a tattered box, and is not in ideal condition (scuffs). i wanted to buy a new one not rent in the first place so this is a pretty bonked experience overall

Experience far worse than imaginable. Terrible customer support and charging me for month and a half that they idnt send my order. Not wnsering emails in days and litterally couldnt be worse. Dont rent.
the scooter is good, returns are terrible
the scooter is good. but they make it impossible to return because fedex is terrible.
Shipment took longer than expected
Shipment took longer than expected. Even fully charged the battery dies unusually quick, living in a big city like NYC it takes about a good hour to hit the city, have to minimize usage while in the city and go around so I have enough battery life to make it home. It's not easy to find charging spots in the city. Not sure if I will continue subscribing until a better a resolve.
I’m really disappointed for not…
I’m really disappointed for not receiving what I ordered!. My order was for a brand new Model Voyager Scooter but Instead I received a used one, so many scratches, damages, makes disturbing noise when running!. I reordered again hope you won’t disappointed me again!.

Very poor overall experience
It took ages to deliver, even now I just got the scooter, after a while of riding it ( 3-4 battery bars remaining) even after dual engine is activated, it refuses to go over 10mph, I will definitely tell everyone to stay away from Unagi
Try Another Company
First they told me my scooter would arrive in a week, it took two. The battery on the older model does not work as advertised, and runs out of battery at about 4 miles. Customer service is slow to respond, and not entirely helpful either. They dont seem to go above and beyond for their customers, which is unfortunate as I was expecting great things from Unagi. Unfortunately, my experience to this point has been less than ideal and I would urge those of you looking for a scooter to consider your options.

Scooter stopped in the middle of the street, going downhill! While the company is replacing it, this was very dangerous, and you need to perform QC and QA as part of your business model if you are going to lease used scooters.

I’ve waited for my scooter for 30days…
I’ve waited for my scooter for 30days and when it came it did bot even work, so I had to prder a replacement. A week passed and it’s not even shipped again. Also, while I was waiting for 30 days, customer support wrote me back every tike, that I have to still wait, but when I called fedex, it said that they don’t even have the scooter. So UNAGI did not even give it to fedex for 25 days, but told me to just wait for fedex to ship it… Worst experience ever.
Received a reconditioned scooter
Received a reconditioned scooter, It has a wobble, not safe to drive yet. You are still charging me a monthly fee and I still have not received back a new Scooter to exchange this one still waiting for your help sorry for the
Riding around town
Good in every way, soft glide, good pace/speed and lightweight. I am enjoying the Unagi rides everywhere I go.

Terrible experience. I waited two and a half weeks just to finally get a scooter that worked for only two days before it broke down. Then I had to wait another two weeks for a replacement — and on top of all that, I was still charged a fee. Completely disappointed with how this was handled. Would not recommend.
Don't Order close to a Holiday
It took about 2weeks to receive the scooter. I know they don't ship out during the holidays, but they dropped the scooter off before Memorial Day, but the scooter was shipped out until the Wednesday after Memorial Day! I order a Black Scooter, and they sent me a green one. The scooter is ok, but I probably won't have it long term because I'm desperately in search of a car.

Shipping process was horrible. Took 3 weeks to receive it and didn't even get updates for the first 2 weeks. Scooter I received was cosmetically not in good shape. Many many scratches cracks on the side and rear bumper was broken. I understand with the membership program I don't get a brand new one but this was in bad shape
Too long of a transit time
Too long of a transit time. Says 5-7 days on their website but took 3 weeks for me to get it. And they charge you upfront on the day your order, which I dont prefer, Id rather they charge on the day it arrives. Communication via mail is okay but response time can get better. As for the product, unagi scooters are comfortable to ride, and well balanced. Easy to charge, and easy to carry.
