What people say

One order, endless spam

I used Unionfab's 3D printing service once. The print itself was a one-time transaction, but their marketing emails have continued ever since. I have tried unsubscribing repeatedly, yet I continue to receive offers and promotional/news emails. In my experience, the unsubscribe process has simply not been respected. For that reason alone, I would not do business with Unionfab again, and I cannot recommend them to others. Unless you enjoy receiving marketing emails indefinitely after placing a single order, I would suggest looking elsewhere for 3D printing and CNC services. A company should respect its customers' unsubscribe requests. Mine have not been. -------------- Edit: I am glad that Unionfab has now responded and is taking the issue seriously. However, I am disappointed that it apparently took a public Trustpilot review before they reacted. Before posting this review, I had contacted them several times about the unwanted marketing emails, but those messages were ignored and the emails continued. I therefore appreciate their response, but I do not feel there is any reason to change my rating.

Dear Martin, We’re truly sorry for this experience, and we sincerely apologize that your unsubscribe request was not respected. We have confirmed that you had requested to unsubscribe after receiving our marketing email. Although your request was successfully processed in our new system, the unsubscribe status was not properly synchronized between our new and legacy systems, which meant that your email address remained on a subsequent marketing mailing list. We understand how frustrating this must have been, especially after you had already made your request clear. We have now confirmed that you will no longer receive marketing emails from Unionfab. At the same time, our product and technical teams are investigating the issue and working on a permanent solution to prevent this from happening again. We know that an apology alone does not undo the frustration this caused. We take your feedback seriously and will update you as soon as we have confirmed the solution. We’re truly sorry that we let you down, and we hope we can have the opportunity to earn back your trust in the future. Best regards, Unionfab Team ----------------- Update (from our CEO, Allen Yang): Dear Martin, Following up on our previous response, our CEO, Allen Yang, has personally reviewed this issue and emailed you a formal apology. You were entirely right to be frustrated that your earlier private requests went unanswered. Our internal review confirmed two breakdowns on our side: our team failed to reply and confirm receipt of your emails, and a database sync glitch during a system migration caused automated marketing sequences to continue. We have fully resolved this issue: 1. Fixed the database sync bug and permanently purged outdated mailing lists. 2. Manually verified that your address is permanently suppressed from all marketing channels. 3. Updated our customer support SOP: every suppression request now requires mandatory written confirmation to the customer and direct system verification before closing. Thank you for holding us accountable—your feedback directly drove these permanent system and workflow improvements. Best regards, Allen Yang & The Unionfab Team

Terrible Customer Service, Order Still Missing

I placed my order three weeks ago through Craftcloud thinking I would have it about a week later. Their techs were very helpful in advising problematic parts of my print that I was able to fix with their guidance, and production was only set back a few days. All fine. That is where my good experience ended. My package went missing for whatever reason, and they were very slow to give me any updates--only responding to one of my queries. I was last told they were reprinting my order, and have not heard any updates since despite multiple attempts to reach out. Be very wary of ordering with them if you have a tight deadline, as the window for me needing these parts is closing rapidly and I am regretting my decision to choose Unionfab.
