Good very good
I hired someone on upwork to review and submit 5 grants for me through a grant writing software. After 2 months of delaying she never completed one grant. She only had excuses and kept claiming she would do it. Upwork customer service was a pain to deal with and I still had to pay her the majority of the contract for doing nothing.
I cancelled the contract beforte I started because was in Italy and we have 8 hours difference, when I saw it on the ad read United States... I do hope to find an new job soon, I am applying every day and as I do not have REVIEWS I do hope to find soon something. Thanks
Upwork is the hope for untapped talents that are unemployed.
Very good experience
Nothing I did not have the time to Feel great i hope the Company does well.
I would like to suggest an improvement to how job posts are managed on Upwork. While I understand that clients need flexibility to post jobs and take their time reviewing proposals, freelancers also need to be protected. Connects are not free, and submitting proposals represents a real cost for freelancers. There are situations where clients post jobs but remain inactive for weeks, with little or no indication that they are reviewing proposals, communicating with applicants, or actively hiring. During this period, freelancers’ Connects remain tied up in applications that may never receive a response. I believe Upwork could introduce measures to protect both clients and freelancers, such as automatically pausing or closing job posts after a certain period of client inactivity, notifying freelancers when a client has not reviewed proposals for an extended period, or returning Connects when a job is closed without meaningful client activity. The goal should be a fairer marketplace where clients can find the right talent while freelancers can confidently invest their Connects in genuine, active opportunities. Protecting both sides will ultimately improve trust in the platform and create a better experience for everyone.
My experience with Upwork has been very positive. The platform makes it easy to connect with clients, communicate clearly, and manage projects professionally. I especially appreciate the wide range of opportunities and the overall user experience. Payments and project management are also convenient. Overall, a great platform for freelancers looking to build long-term client relationships.
Awful, one-sided, greedy platform. They make you pay to subscribe just to view opportunities, and then they charge commission on your earnings on top of that. In other words, they make money at your expense regardless of whether you ever earn anything yourself. There's only one winner here!
Upwork is one of the most reliable freelancing platforms available today. It connects skilled professionals with clients from all over the world, offering a wide range of job categories from tech and design to writing and customer support. The platform provides secure payments, clear contracts, and helpful tools for communication and project tracking. For anyone serious about building a remote career, Upwork is a strong and trustworthy choice.
I found this site to be nothing but an enormous waste of time. So many people want $50 or more an hour and in my opinion most of them probably aren't worth that. The few top tier marketers require crazy budgets. As for the other ones, well I don't want to take swings on random freelancers. It's like throwing darts. You hope one lands but you don't know if it will. At least when you look into marketing agencies online you can see their website as well as Google reviews so you can make a more informed decision. I also had a poor experience with a marketer named Edgar. I contacted Edgar through Upwork about a small test run. He initially indicated he was willing to proceed, and we got to the point where I was preparing the agreement. He then completely stopped responding. That was an enormous waste of my time because we exchanged a ton of messages only for him to back out at the last second. I find that to be extremely unprofessional. I can’t leave him a 1 star review there so I’m doing it here. To avoid having your time and energy wasted you should probably go with a marketing agency instead of him. Agencies seem to care a lot more.
I appreciate that payments are efficiently process. If i encounter an issue i can easily connect with support for assistance and overall my experience has been exceptional.
Upwork has established a very good platform between clients and freelancers, enabling all parties using the platform to achieve a win-win situation.
Upwork completely changed my life. It gave me the platform to build a real freelance career, connect with clients from all over the world. What started as just trying to find work turned into financial independence and a career I actually love. I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunities this platform has given me, and I'd recommend it to anyone serious about building a freelance career.
