Verbatim is the only place to go for translation services. They did an excellent job translating my presentation in Spanish and then included an introductory email translated at no cost! Fantastic turnaround and reasonable pricing.

I work for a largely Spanish speaking municipality. We needed our newsletter translated into Spanish. I had several complaints after publication that the grammar and word choice I received had some issues. However regional and dialectic differences between central and southern American countries may have played a role. I appreciated the service.

I've done work with Verbatim Solutions for about a year now and they are great. They are very efficient with getting back on how long a job will take, and when it's an emergency job, they get back to you promptly. I'm giving this rating a 4 star instead of 5 because the beginning though, I had some problems though with the person that I corresponded with (he no longer with Verbatim), he would be late with the translations or overlook a job I sent and I would have to email constantly to remind him. But now I correspond with Rossanne and she's great. She confirms when she gets my emails and let's me know when the job will be done. I wish I could have corresponded with Rossanne at the beginning, if I did this rating would be 5 stars.
I've used Verbatim twice now, once for a couple of interpretation projects and once for a straight transcription. Price: They seem about average for transcription, but for interpretation, they are the BOMB. I had two videos of interviews we had done through two interpreters at a time. (Three languages. It was a mess.) Verbatim was over $100 cheaper than the service we normally use. The other service counted transcribing the interview as a separate service, but not Verbatim! Service: For two of these projects, we had security concerns, so Verbatim signed a non-disclosure agreement before I sent them the video for a quote. However, they thought the request for a quote was me giving them the job (I still don't understand how this happened, even re-reading the emails). I was very surprised to find the finished transcripts in my inbox--and what could I do at that point except pay them? The experience has made me a little jumpy. Product: They do a nice job transcribing. I can't speak to interpreting, or else I wouldn't need them! Overall, I'm satisfied, but I do wish they had time stamps on their transcripts so I would I know where to go back to in a recording if I wanted to hear the person actually say it.
Just a simple great transaction
I used Verbatim to translate grant program materials into Portuguese. The process was clear and relatively quick. The price was competitive and the quality of work was perfect. I will use them again if the need arises.
The customer service from Verbatim was fantastic, and the product I received was good. The price seemed a little high, though with translation and transcription services you get what you pay for and they're aren't giving you a cheap product. I would recommend them, but would suggest checking around to make sure their prices are still competitive with the market.
We have used Verbatim for many years to memorialize the proceedings of our annual conference and events. Sharon, Noreen, and the whole team have consistently done an excellent job--going beyond merely transcribing to actually capture the spirit of the conference and the dialogue.
