Same issue here Fullboox has charged me subscription fees after I had purchased a e-book in a discounted price of $4.99 on 11 Jan. It did not stated about this ‘transparent’ subscription on my invoice!!!! Please do not purchase anything on this website. It is useless and scamming your money
Do not buy from this site. Just like the other reviews I was caught with the subscription scam. I can't even access my account all of a sudden. No one is replying to you
This is a scam website. They will lure you in with the $5 then charge you with a subscription after a few days. They are also designed to not reply and just loop in circles with their "customer support". It is not legal to not have any messages about this or any communication before they renew or charge your subscription.

Totally dodgy to charge a $30 sub on a $5 book. I've been back through the emails and confirmation pages there is NOTHING elluding to these scammers adding you into a sub. STAY TF AWAY EDIT: Fullboox claims in their response below they take this seriously however they still have not refunded me and blocked me on their telegram 'support'. The SUBSCRIPTION information IS NOT presented, it's a box that is already ticked and talks about a library but there is no mention of price or ongoing fees. THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM.

They are a scam. I ordered a single book for sale for 5$ (pdf file) for Spanish language. They did not specify or say that they would save your billing information then automatically subscribe you to a 30$ a month subscription. Just got charged for a service I never even knew I had or used….stay away.

A week ago I bought an ebook for 5 dollars. When I then went to pay, it automatically ticked a box that said “digital acces library $0,00.” I thought whatever and just continued the purchase and then 3 days later they took 30 dollars out of my account, because I now apparently made a subscription. Feel really scammed atm, watch out it doesn’t happen to you guys.

Complete scam. They lure you in with a very cheap $5 ebook, and then—without your consent—enroll you in a $29.99 monthly subscription. I immediately asked for a refund, but they simply pointed me to their “no returns” policy.

These frauds are duping people of supposedly going on some sort of trial without even realizing. Horrible experience. And then the support have the audacity to not refund the money when the trial hasn't even been used, and to basically be super unprofessional. Stay away from these clowns

You make it difficult for us to communicate with you. What legitimate company doesn't at least use email or a step up with zendesk.com? If you refunded $29.99 to each 1-star customer on here, it might give you some credibility. Had the "Membership Model" information been easily visible, I would have noticed. Of course, I want a refund, and emailed the company for a refund on 12-02-25, but have not received a reply to my email. Offering a valid contact email would be helpful.
