The attenttion from the personnel was very good, to book the service also was easy. The only negative point was that the reserevation was made for another date than the date we choose. By Whatsapp your people said that they will change. Also in your confirmations the date of starting the tour is not showed.
An Unforgettable Chile Adventure - Thank you Hilton!!!
I cannot recommend Hilton and his team highly enough!! I have just returned from the most incredible trip to Chile, and every aspect of the journey exceeded my expectations. Chile is a truly beautiful country with stunning landscapes, wonderful people, and amazing food. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organised, allowing me to simply relax and enjoy the experience. The tours Hilton arranged were exceptional. Every guide was knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely passionate about sharing their corner of Chile. Several of them made such an impression that I expect we'll stay in touch long after the trip has ended. The highlight was undoubtedly Easter Island, where Hilton helped make my birthday unforgettable. Being surprised with cake and drinks beside the iconic Moai statues was incredibly special, and something I will remember for the rest of my life. As if that wasn't enough, the evening ended with a fantastic cultural dance performance, and I was even invited on stage to join the dancers! It was the perfect ending to a magical day and quite literally the icing on the cake. The attention to detail, personal touches, and seamless planning throughout the trip were outstanding. Experiences like these create memories that last a lifetime, and I'm so grateful for everything Hilton did to make this journey so special. Chile has truly captured a piece of my heart, and I already know I will be back. When I do return, I wouldn't hesitate to book through Hilton again. Thank you for creating a trip that I will never forget.
We booked the stargazing experience in Uyuni
We booked the stargazing experience in Uyuni through visit.SouthAmerica and it ended up being one of the highlights of our Bolivia trip. The night started quietly, sitting in complete darkness on the salt flats and waiting for the sky to reveal itself. As the stars became more visible and the Milky Way stretched across the sky, it genuinely felt surreal. Photos don't really do justice to how vast and peaceful it felt standing out there. What stood out most was our guide's enthusiasm. Despite working in complete darkness and freezing temperatures, he went above and beyond to help everyone get creative photos and make the experience memorable. The tour was well organised, communication was straightforward, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. If you're visiting Uyuni, I'd strongly recommend adding the stargazing experience to your itinerary. It's a completely different side of the salt flats and one we'll remember for a long time.
Colombia Solo Trip
Just returned from a 15 day solo trip to Colombia. The visit south america team was wonderful. They helped me put together an awesome itinerary and were always super helpful with answering questions or making modifications last minute (super impressed on how quickly they made things happen for me as I tent to change my mind a lot). But the entire team was always super helpful and sweet. Thanks for making my trip one I'll never forget!

We had a great time on our 10 day private tour through Peru. This is our 2nd time in the country visiting and this time was extra special thanks to everyone from Visit South America. We’ll be back to explore more soon! Pura vida from Costa Rica. Definitely recommend! Walter & Albert
Trip Saved!
We had an amazing tour through the Uyuni Salt flats and surrounding desert. The scenery was breathtaking and our guide was great. We were especially impressed with our driver's skills! Most importantly, when it came time for us to travel to our next destination, the roads were impassable and the flights were full due to some political unrest. Jeff at Visit South America spent hours behind the scenes working out a way to get us from Point A to Point B, saving our trip and allowing us to continue on with the plans we had made. It was truly miraculous. We are so happy we chose to travel with Visit South America!

We booked a 3 days tour to the Salar Uyuni tour in Bolivia with them and we are so glad that we did ! They handle everything for us, the process was really smooth. Our guide was really nice, he was knowledgeable and made sure we were always ok. Food on the tour was good, the hotel was rustic but perfect. 100% recommend!!

My partner and I booked a tour to the Salar Uyuni with them and we had the best time in Bolivia!! The tour was so fun, the guide was great and friendly. The food and accommodations were perfect. We book a 3 day tour from San Pedro de Atacama to Uyuni and we glad that we choose this option!

Muchas gracias! How can I do 6/5?! We had a wonderful time with everyone from the VSA team. We did a custom 21 day journey from Chile to Bolivia to Peru and everything was flawless from start to finish. All of our guides were wonderful! During the building process we had a few zoom calls to tweak the itinerary to our liking and they were so patient and helpful to match our requests. Thank you for making this trip one of the most special for me and my husband. Hugs to everyone on the team! High recommend.
Brilliant Bolivia!
Overall we had a great tour! It was well organized starting with a pre-tour briefing to help us answer any questions. Kevin was very knowledgeable about the logistics of the tour and he was very prompt to find answers when he was not certain about something we asked. He even reached out to us earlier to ask if our bus was canceled due to road blockades. It turned out that our bus was canceled the following day and the day after. Kevin was quick to help us reschedule our tour to a later date with the same driver and guide. He even followed up with us after our tour ended and offered his support if we needed. Our driver, Jesus, was great! We have two young children therefore safety was our priority. Jesus was very responsible and made sure that he was alert at the wheel at all times. Our guide, Daniela, was very knowledgeable about the areas we visited. She was friendly and spoke fluent English. We enjoyed both Jesus and Daniela's company.
VSA created magic and memories
We planned our own itinerary for a trip across Peru and Bolivia. Visit South America then added to it and made helpful suggestions to make sure we got the very best out of our trip. At each stage we were met by a team of driver and guide who made us feel welcome and looked after. They also shared their knowledge and passion about their country, culture and history. The team back at "basecamp" always checked at every step to make sure our trip was reaching our expectations and responded instantly if we had a query. It was a truly magical voyage enhanced by a very well oiled and fabulous team. Thank you - this trip will stay in my head and heart forever.
AMAZING TEAM
AMAZING TEAM! Thank you VSA for hosting my friends and I on a great trip through South America. Peru, Bolivia, and Brazil have so much to offer, our only regret is not having more time to spend in each country. All of our hotels, flights, transfers, and tours were prearranged which allowed us to really just enjoy our time at each destination without having to worry. Big shout out to all the wonderful guides such as Jesus, Guillermo, Sergio, Natalia. Absolutely wonderful hosts. And Sofia and Kevin for planning the most wonderful adventure. Thank you!

Wonderful experience in Brazil
Thank you to the entire VSA team for an incredible adventure through Brazil! My partner and I did a private 12 day trip visiting Iguazu, Rio, and São Paulo. From start to finish the entire team was there to help with any questions or concerns we had. We truly felt taken care of by the team members we worked with - shout out to Sofia, Jefry, and Kevin. Wrong person, wrong gender, wrong day
Had to ask for pick up details, etc some days out from the start. Finally, Kevin sent a voice message with the wrong person and dates. I contact them again and get directed to the local tour operator in San Pedro, Sol Andinos who was fantastic and set the record straight. You pay a lot more to companies such as Visit South America and expect better communication and service Tip wait till you get to these places and compare and book there, you cut out the middle man and save lots

Hi Carlos, My name is Sofia, customer experience manager. We are very sad to see this review posted as it is highly inaccurate. I took the liberty of reviewing the WhatsApp chat you had with our team member Kevin. 1) We offered to have a call to do the briefing call. That was denied on your end. 2) Kevin forwarded a voice note from another traveler, Vicky, who was doing the same exact tour a few days from when you were contacting with Kevin. Our team member asked if it was ok to send the same audio, and just to disregard the name and the date departure. You then replied saying that your name was not addressed in the audio, and so our team offered to send another with your name and proper departure date. The overall information would be the exact same. Since you mentioned you were in Atacama, we offered to have you stop into our partner office. 3) We have been working with Sol Andino exclusively in Atacama for the past 8 years. Many of the guides and team members have been trained by our team over the teams in how to offer excellent customer service. So we appreciate the compliment! 4) The price is actually $5 more expensive if you were to book directly on the Sol Andino pricing, so that is also incorrect. We do agree that if you purchase a tour in the town for the next day will give you a discount as it's a last minute booking so you might get a deal. But, it's not guaranteed. So, if you have the time to shop around the town and jump in from agency to agency comparing pricing you will definitely find a lower price - and maybe lower quality. Especially since this tour is considered more of a "backpacker" or "adventurous" there is different price points depending on when it's booked. W We are very sorry you felt you felt that you were addressed incorrectly, but we do have proof in text and audio that our team member mentions he can resend with proper name and dates and also asked before sending if it was ok, since the travel details were the exact same. Exceptional team and exceptional experiences!
We have done various tours with Visit South America across multiple countries. We’ve done the following tours: 3 days Atacama to Uyuni, La Paz city tour, and the Rio sunrise tour & city tour with the favela tour added on. Each of these tours were exceptional, the guides all had great energy and enthusiasm which was needed for some of the 4am pre sunrise pick ups! The tour timings were planned perfectly and we got to the most popular spots before they got busy which was a game changer, especially in Rio! We had the best time on our VSA tours, couldn’t recommend the more highly! The VSA team even helped us sort flight changes with Boliviana (notoriously difficult to deal with) after our trip got delayed due to flooding & border closures!

Have booked several tours with Visit South America in Chile, Bolivia, and Brazil, and have always had a great experience. They even helped us to rearrange our flights when adverse weather postponed a tour start date. Highly recommend.
