I used to use it infrequently, but it was practical because of its complete freedom, and I liked that. Now it only gives you 2 hours... Honestly, I don't like this decision, man; it goes against WeMod's vision for its community. We understand that their work isn't free and that they want some compensation, but there were already donations and a paid version with more tools. If they knew their community, they should at least increase the time from 2 to 4 hours or revert it. It seems the community hated this, and rightly so. That would be great, because sometimes I just stand there looking at a rock, the map, or I take a break, haha. It's a shame because I thought it was a good program; for now, I'll look for other alternatives that offer me that freedom. Your game, your rules. Now it sound like fantasy...

it works great. theres a ton of mods for a bunch of different games. i love their pop out Alt W tab feature for quick mod access. Its very simple to use and i would highly recommend upgrading to the pro version. Note: Most multiplayer games dont have mod integration. also you can request mods for a game that doesn't (but i mean i play niche stuff that nobody else is probably gonna try to mod for it RIP)

A great app, turned into a shit app. The old app "wemods" was free, comunity driven. They started adding multiple things to the app out of its core function and then, a paywall. 2h free usage, for a thing that was free for basic use, u could donate, or pay if you want more resources, not a problem with that. Its its pay, or dont use it! Just and edit. For a brazilian user, the $8 fee is waay overpriced. Might not seem much, but if you need to make the currency conversion, it is! (An amazon prime or netflix subscription its around $4)

One thing worth gently untangling, the "pay or don't use it" part, because Wand genuinely isn't that, there's still a real free way to use the customizations every day, with the paid tier there for those who want more time rather than a wall shutting everyone else out. On the donation idea, it's a fair one to raise, and the honest reason it isn't the model is that keeping customizations working across thousands of games as they constantly patch grew into steady, full-time work for a real team, which donations can't reliably hold up. It is still the same team that built WeMod, just a much bigger project now, and the community that shaped it is still very much who this is for. Where you go from here is yours to decide, and the door stays open should you want to come back.
Locked the key part of the app to a two hour daily timer that to get unlimited requires you to pay an absurd subscription price that they try to justify by adding a bunch of other features that no one ever wants or uses.

like the title says; u pay 60-100 USD per game then another 70 USD / year in order to pay to use a trainer in said game........30 USD i could get behind since i get that it takes work to build those trainers but 70? srsly? on what planet are they living on. it just increases my subscription fatigue. they picked a bad time to do so as well, with the cost of living crisis etc. shame, i've been using WEMOD (now WAND) since 2019 to avoid annoying af grinding in games. not anymore, paaaaaaaasssssssssssssss
