Excellent value and tons of fun

Fun, fun and more fun can be had with this tremendously useful app. It makes single player games a breeze to master and then the good stuff begins! You can select which mods you want to use and you can even speed up or slow down game play speed among other things. I have only gamed with it on a couple of games namely KF2 and Aliens:FTE and so far so good. I like it a lot. Keep up the good work guys.

Reply from Wand2026-07-27

Love the energy. The fact that you're using it to master games and then unlock the fun part with customizations is honestly the best use case. Thanks for the kind words, and thanks for choosing Wand.

The experience

The experience. Unique, different, added difficulty when I wanted it, and made it easier when I wanted it.

Reply from Wand2026-07-27

This is the whole point right here. You get to decide how you play, whether that's making it harder or easier depending on what you're in the mood for. Really appreciate you seeing it that way.

10/10 Dont think twice before giving it a try

All menus are constantly being updated and thought out, their are SOOOOOOOoooooOOOoOOOoooOOOOOo many games that wand supports i can go on for EVER, also the community is what makes wand what it is with no community their would be no Trainers/menus i can recommend wand to anyone, people that want just a little help through a game or someone that wants to break the limits of what they could do!

Reply from Wand2026-07-27

You get it! The constant menu updates, the massive library, and the community that keeps building mods together, that's what makes Wand what it is. Love that you're recommending it to people who just want a helping hand and people who want to push games to their limits. That's the whole point.

"Your game, your rules"...but only for two hours

Remember when their slogan was "Your game, your rules". Now they only give you two hours to use. Was handy, but won't bother with this application again.

Reply from Wand2026-07-28

Really appreciate you sharing this, and it means a lot that "Your game, your rules" stuck with you enough to bring up. The 2-hour limit on free accounts came in to help us keep Wand sustainable long-term, since maintaining hundreds of trainers across constantly updating games takes real ongoing resources. I get that doesn't make it sting less if you were used to unlimited access before, and I'm sorry it's changed things for you.

Thank you Wand(wemod)

I have been using wand for a couple years now and I love it. Makes dealing with the lack of time I have for gaming anymore worth it. The team they have is very friendly and helpful with issues I've had from games crashing unexpectedly or errors with payment for pro. 10/10

Reply from Wand2026-07-27

Hey there, a couple of years in and still loving it, that genuinely means a lot to hear, thank you. Making the limited gaming time you get feel worth it is exactly what we'd hope Wand does, and it's wonderful that it's fit into your life that way. The shout-out to the team is the part we'll happily pass along too, knowing they came through for you on everything from unexpected crashes to sorting out a Pro payment issue is the kind of feedback that genuinely lifts them. Thank you for being with us these couple of years, and here's to many more great sessions ahead!

Predatory money-grabbing tactics

Introduced a 2 hour time limit, and this is after years of ads, restricted features behind a paywall etc that gave users the option to pay and support. They're now attempting to force everyone who uses the app to pay and seem to think they've engrained themselves enough that we'll roll over. I'm getting my free trial then promptly deleting the app, done with this trash. Hope this decision to alienate anyone who doesn't want yet another service locked behind a subscription doesn't affect your bottom line guys, since that's all you care about!

Reply from Wand2026-07-28

Thanks for sharing this, and for the years of history with Wand before this change. The 2-hour limit on free accounts came in to help keep Wand sustainable long-term, since maintaining hundreds of trainers across constantly updating games is an ongoing cost on our end regardless of ads.

Unexpected Fun Times

I think what is great is that you can enjoy playing games with more fun and entertainment value. Its a great set of tools. I honestly don't mind its pay to play feature seeing how anyone can play for free limitedly each day. I have not had this much fun with a game in awhile. I think this app is great for people who enjoy playing solo and don't have the time to sit around all day.

Reply from Wand2026-07-28

Thank you for such a thoughtful review, really glad Wand's added that extra fun and entertainment value to your games! Great point too about it working well for solo players who don't have all day to sit around. Appreciate you taking the time to share this.

It was great until they put a timer on…

It was great until they put a timer on free user only 2 hours, before we were able to use free as long as we wanted. I'm sure this is a move to bring in more money despite bringing in a bunch of money already from monthly subs

Reply from Wand2026-07-26

We hear the frustration about the change. The timer exists because maintaining mods through every game update takes real resources and creator time. Looking after upcoming games and already releases games requires constant effort. That's genuinely where the timer funding goes.

This is a rip off

This is a rip off. The in app AI is trash and not bright. Says it can teleport you but it can't. Just use AI on your phone. It's better. This app will only find you chests and garbage like that. 0/10 !!!

Reply from Wand2026-07-26

Hey there, we're sorry to hear it landed this way for you. Worth clearing up one thing though, only a small handful of Wand's features lean on AI at all, and the core of what Wand does, the customizations themselves, is built and kept updated by a real team of people. On what Wand can actually do, it stretches well beyond finding collectibles, and if the teleport feature or anything else isn't behaving the way you'd expect, that's exactly the kind of thing our team would genuinely like to help sort out. Real people, not a bot, are on the other end if you drop us an email at [email protected]. We'd love the chance to show you there's more here than first came across, and to get things working the way they should for you.

They added a 2 hour daily time limit to using the core features of the program. To get full access at all times, it’s a $7.99 a month subscription. For comparison, PC GamePass is $13.99 a month.

Reply from Wand2026-07-26

Appreciate you being direct about it. The pricing is definitely a barrier for people, and we hear that feedback regularly. The timer funds ongoing creator maintenance since games update constantly and mods need updating too. That said, we completely understand if you don't think the value is worth it. That's a fair take, and we respect your decision to step back.

AVOID - 2 HOUR TIME LIMIT

They did make a 5* product, but then they implemented a stupid 2 hour timer after years of being able to freely use the product to drive people towards their premium membership and punish those who either cannot afford, have dropped their premium membership for a little bit or those who just don't want any of the features in premium. Rather than cutting back costs on things like their new AI helper, their interactive maps or moving those behind the premium paywall they chose to punish their userbase. The staff hide any and all complaints about the timer or the fact there didn't used to be any, and instead funnel everyone into a single Discord channel where folks give "feedback" but they never listen to it. They would've probably angered their userbase less if they implemented a limit on the number of games you can use their application on to 2 games a day of the users own choice with an unlimited time on said game, but that's one of many bits of feedback they don't care to hear. -Avoid, they're not to be trusted.

Reply from Wand2026-07-26

Hey there, thank you for taking the time to lay this out so fully, and we're sorry it's soured things after years of Wand being a five-star experience for you. The reasoning behind the time-based model rather than pulling features is that the mods themselves are by far the most resource-intensive part of Wand, not the extras like maps or the AI-assisted tools, and their ongoing upkeep is the constant work of a real, paid team keeping thousands of games supported as they patch. The free window is there so there's still a genuine way to use Wand without paying at all, rather than locking the core away. On the feedback side, we hear you, and we'd genuinely love for you to feel heard here, because the team really does read what comes in. Bringing it together in one place is what makes that possible, when it's spread across dozens of scattered threads, the good ideas get lost rather than seen. And it really is shaping things: a survey recently went out asking players directly how to make the free experience better, which is exactly where thoughtful input like yours makes a difference. Your idea of a per-game daily cap with unlimited time on each is a great example, that's the kind of suggestion worth getting in front of the team. This isn't a closed door, the team is genuinely working to make the experience better for everyone. Thank you for caring enough to write something this considered, it doesn't go unnoticed.

Remove 2h timer

I've been using WeMod since the early days, and I'm honestly very disappointed with the recent direction. The new 2-hour daily timer for free users is by far the worst change you've made. I understand that WeMod needs to make money, but limiting gameplay time instead of limiting premium features makes the free version feel frustrating rather than useful. What makes this even more disappointing is that long-time users weren't acknowledged in any way. My account is as old as WeMod itself. I've spent years using the platform, reporting bugs, and helping improve the software, yet I was treated exactly the same as a brand-new account and received the same 2-hour limit. Some recognition or loyalty rewards for users who have supported WeMod from the beginning would have been appreciated. On top of that, recent updates seem focused on features that many of us never asked for, such as video recording and replay functionality. I came to WeMod for game trainers, not another game recording application. Those development resources could have been spent improving trainer support, stability, or quality-of-life features instead. I used to recommend WeMod to everyone. Unfortunately, after the introduction of the 2-hour timer, I can no longer do that. I hope you'll reconsider this decision or at least offer a better experience for long-time community members who helped make WeMod what it is today.

Reply from Wand2026-07-26

Hey there, this is one of the most thoughtful reviews we've had, and the years you've put in, reporting bugs and helping shape the software, are genuinely part of how Wand got here. That's not lost on us. Thanks for the support, from the bottom of our hearts. On the timer applying to time rather than features, here's the honest reasoning: the mods are the most resource-intensive part of Wand by far, not the premium extras, and their upkeep has never once left the front of the queue. As Wand has grown, it's reached far more players, which means far more demand, and the team had to grow with it to keep up, including making sure the people building mods full time are paid properly and treated as the real job it is. That scale is what shapes the model, and the free window exists so there's still a genuine way in without paying. On the newer features like recording, the feedback that you'd rather those resources go toward mod support, stability, and quality-of-life is heard, genuinely, and it's noted, but the core mod work has never taken a back seat to them. On long-time recognition, legacy accounts were allowed to keep their membership when the wider changes came in, but as the team adapts to the scale it now runs at, some tough calls followed, and we understand that stings for someone who's been here since the start. None of this is us saying goodbye, the team is actively working to make the experience better for everyone, long-time members included. Thank you for the years, and for caring enough to write this out.

no one wnats your 2 hour wait limit you ruined the whole app greedy assholes

Reply from Wand2026-07-26

Hey there, we're sorry to see the change hasn't sat well with you. The daily session came in because keeping customizations working across thousands of games, each one needing rework every time it updates, is constant hands-on effort from a real team, and the free window is there so there's still a genuine way to enjoy Wand without paying anything at all. It may not be the answer you were hoping for, but the reasoning behind it is real, and so is the work it supports. Should you ever feel like giving it another go, we'd genuinely love to have you back.

Needs new management for sure, or maybe someone responding who is actually kind to those struggling

What's funny, is I am not here about the timer. I am here about the commentary over adding the timer. I understand that the WeMod community has made so much money helping gamers, that they decided to bite off more than they could chew. I get that. Now, they can't make enough money without gouging the little guys to actually make their dreams come true. I'm sure I am going to get a copy and paste response of the same crap they're feeding everyone else, but here's the deal- There have always been game updates. There have always been tired devs, working on projects like this on a lunch break at work, or as a side hustle to help their community. Golly, I AM one. That being said, they directly asked us for donations. ONE time payments that allowed us to support the work and people we love. Wand has followed suit with a bad practice, here. We all know that fixing some of these mods may take minutes, and the responses all hanging their last breath on "CONSTANT WORK" is only because of how many games they've added and now need to maintain. Oh, and to make you feel bad. Can't forget that! It's freaking disgusting, have you no shame about what you're saying? All of this is the same thing they're saying, but what got me mad enough to comment on it is the victim blaming. "Well you free users werent paying anything to our hardworking devs and we really dont care if you aren't going to pay us. How can we get you to pay us? Ah! A paywall! Let's do this!" Except, there is no way this is going to work the way they want to. They're going to lose free users entirely once someone decides to make an alternative program to keep up the work they were doing for the laymen, and those paying high fees will switch when we decide to make an even better program. And then they're going to notice that the ad-generated traffic is ALSO going to go down. Yo Wand, You do offer no ads to pro users, right? Hmm.. Why did we not add more ads? Why do we need to limit our use of a product you promised would remain the same? Because that's what the big hype was about the WeMod to Wand swap - everything would remain the same. So, go ahead and tell me all about how you don't care about us, and then slather a "I'm sorry you feel that way, get bent" right on top of that. But I cannot wait for the day this backfires.

Reply from Wand2026-07-27

Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts. We understand that this change has been frustrating for you, and we appreciate you taking the time to explain where you're coming from. Running Wand means keeping thousands of mods working across thousands of games and updating them quickly whenever games receive patches. The session timer is a sustainable way to support that ongoing work, including our team of mod creators and the continued development of the platform, so we can keep delivering value for the community. We know this may not be the outcome everyone was hoping for, but we genuinely appreciate your feedback and will continue listening as we move forward.

I Won't Purchase Games Unless They Are On Wand

I've been using Wand (WeMod) for years, and the first thing I do when checking out new Steam games is to see if it's supported by Wand. The interface is great, and it often has more ease-of-use features than some competitors.
