First time user of Whimstay and very pleased. Found a great property at a reasonable price and all communications were timely and clear.

Excellent choice.

I was very, very pleased with the quality and location of the apartment I rented. I found the rental and access process a bit cumbersome, but in the end it was fine. I think some of it is getting with the modern way. I had to follow a lot of instructions to access a box to access a fob to access the gate to get an access code to enter the apartment to get the apartment key and it all seemed a bit much. After that was done it was quite easy. The apartment was lovely, the pool was beautiful, and the location perfect. It was pet friendly and we could walk the dog on a nice walk to a nearby coffee shop that was great. We were near the Tampa walking path and that was great. And the restaurants in the neighborhood also very good. I don't know if I'll be back to Tampa soon, but if I was, that would be where I'd want to stay.

We love the location. It’s close to shopping and the beach. The house was super clean. We couldn’t have asked for a better vacation.

Refund process bad and Unable to Speak to LIVE person

Hi, I booked a VBRO through this company, please be sure you know the service fee is non-refundable!!!! It's in small print. This was suppose to be for about 8 of us and cancelled due to not enough room for all. I would NOT use this service at all. It is powered by AI and not real individuals. You cannot communicated with a live person. If you request a refund for any reason. you will be waiting at least a month. I've learned that I should NOT pay the full amount upfront.

Whimstay is a total game-changer for last-minute travel! I was amazed by the discounts available on beautiful vacation rentals that would normally be out of budget. The app is straightforward, the communication was excellent, and our booking went off without a hitch. It’s easily my new go-to site for booking trips. 5 stars all the way!

Refused to refund money when switched to a different rental

The house I booked had a broken hot tub so I agreed to move to a different house. When I checked their website the house I agreed to be moved to was listed approximately $300 less than the house I originally booked. I was told I would be refunded the difference in the houses, but I was only refunded $20.46. When I reached out to Whimstay about it and showed proof of the price discrepancy (per there request) I was told, "Although you may have seen prices for this listing before, please note that rates can change frequently due to dynamic pricing, which adjusts prices based on demand and availability. Additionally, hosts can update pricing in real time as well." So apparently it is ok for them to raise the prices on a rental property right before they book it so they don't have to refund money. I will never book with them company again.

Overall a nice place

We found the cabin itself to be very nice except for the basement was quite musty. It probably should have been aired out or a dehumidifier installed. The grass was high and shaggy. The fire pit patio was very nice but there was no firewood left to burn in the pit.

Great and responsive customer service. However I thought the prices were in CAD, so the final total was a bit of a shock to me, had I known that I might have booked something else. But the process and service I received was great, no complaints there.

Absolutely loved this stay

Absolutely loved this stay! Warm and Comfortable we were 🥰. Very peaceful, Clean and really have everything you need. The details in this home were very beautiful. We normally come every year and like to stay different places only for the experience and to site see but this one is my favorite 🥰🫶🏾
