Scam company

Scam company! Never heard of them yet £46 charge on my credit card, and another £93 tried to be charged - fortunately I froze my card to stop the £93 payment going out! Still disrupting the £46 with card company. Definitely a scam company

It's awful

It's awful. If your course or mentorship is on Whop, it's almost certainly a scam. They're in cahoots with the course owners and will protect and defend them because their profits come from them. Disgusting consumer, get away from here, do your research, and look for other alternatives. It's the best thing to do, otherwise you'll regret it. I'll never go back to this place.

Disappointing dispute resolution process

I used Whop's dispute process after purchasing what was advertised as a 9,000 BTU portable air conditioner from a seller on their platform. Instead, I received a basic domestic evaporative air cooler, which is a completely different type of appliance. I submitted photographs of the item received together with evidence of the original product listing. Despite this, Whop rejected my claim and accepted the seller's assertion that the correct product had been supplied, without explaining how they reached that conclusion or addressing the evidence I had provided. As a result, I have had to pursue the matter through my credit card provider under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act. Based on my experience, I found Whop's buyer protection and dispute resolution process disappointing and would be reluctant to rely on it for higher-value purchases in the future.

Whop suspended my seller account some…

Whop suspended my seller account some time ago. When I asked about the balance sitting in my account, I was told I would need to wait 90 days from my last payment before the funds could be released. I accepted that and waited the full 90 days without complaint. That period is now over. My withdrawals still come back as rejected on my ledger, and my balance is still locked. Company ID: biz_P5UW3TYHV7DhVA I have written into the live chat over and over for days. The only thing that responds is the AI assistant, which tells me this issue requires a human support agent and that it cannot resolve it. It says the case has been escalated. No human being from Whop has replied to me. Not once. This is my main issue with Whop: not the suspension itself, but that a company holding a seller's money has made it impossible to reach an actual person. I followed their instructions, I waited the time they asked for, and I am still being ignored. All I want is a reply from a real member of the team answering three things: why the withdrawals are being rejected, whether the hold period is actually complete, and the date my funds will be released. Whop, if you are reading this, please have someone contact me directly. I will update this review the moment a human responds and this is resolved.

Their AI support doens't understand shit. I tried to refund a client and they don't let you do that unless you add more of your money because the fee can't be reimbursed apparently. I hate it. Customer service is terrible.

Scam companies are rife on their platform!

I ordered some shoes from Avery Lane Brighton (which is a scam of a company) and the purchase was facilitated by Whop. They have been nothing but unhelpful, and will reply on the last day so it resets the clock even further. All this fighting for £40…

BEWARE

BEWARE! Doesn't care about businesses that use their payments. Account was suspended with no reason given, it's been 2 weeks and still no response from customer support.

Support is nonexistent

Their verification process doesn’t work. I’m unable to upload my documents on their website, and customer support is nonexistent. I’ve been trying to contact them for days, but all I’ve received are generic, useless AI-generated responses.

Business suspended for “fraudulent…

Business suspended for false reason “fraudulent payment activity” two hours after staff said everything looked great and we could scale We joined Whop after a recommendation from our long-term partner. We completed full registration, onboarding, and every verification step they requested. We built the required e-commerce plugin, went live, and started receiving real sales within about two days. We were on track for our first payout. 3D Secure was enabled from day one and we were also approved for financing on the platform. The product itself is clean and well-designed. When a platform bug required extra information, we submitted the same details four times before support finally resolved it. We then had a scheduled call lasting more than 30 minutes with a staff member named Devin. During that call he told us everything looked great and that we should be able to scale further compared with our existing payment providers (MPGS and Cybersource). A little over two hours later we received an email from the same Devin suspending our business for “fraudulent payment activity.” No prior warning, no evidence provided, and no explanation that made sense given the conversation we had just finished. They offered to refund buyers if we supplied a list. We immediately prepared the list, notified every buyer ourselves, and copied Devin on those communications so the stated reason was visible. We also told buyers they were free to open disputes if they wished. Two buyers have already done so. With 3D Secure active from the first transaction, the speed and ease with which those disputes were opened raises serious questions about the accuracy of the “fraudulent payment activity” claim. We have no idea whether this was a training failure, an internal process error, discrimination, or simply a false accusation. What is clear is that after we invested time and money building on the platform, generating legitimate sales, and receiving direct verbal reassurance from staff, the account was suspended with almost no transparency or recourse. Transparency is essential whether you are a small business or a large one. In this case it was completely absent. We cannot recommend Whop to any merchant who values stability, clear communication, or fair treatment after onboarding.

Withholding €537.28 for 200+ days on a 0% dispute account, broken promises, and sudden suspension

I am writing this review after my funds have been withheld for over 207 days. My account maintained a flawless 0.00% dispute rate with zero chargebacks. After enduring an initial 120-day hold and further delays, I was explicitly assured in writing by Whop support (Dawson) that my funds would be fully released and available for withdrawal on July 31, 2026. I paused my public feedback in good faith based on that commitment. However, when the July 31 deadline passed, my balance was not released. Instead, support bots repeatedly deflected the issue, refusing to honor the written release date. Immediately after I requested my payout in full, my business account was suddenly suspended without clearing my balance of €537.28. Holding creator earnings for nearly 7 months on a clean account, breaking explicit written release dates, and throwing up account suspensions when payouts are requested is completely unacceptable. If I do not receive a human response and my full €537.28 payout immediately, I will be escalating this case directly by filing formal regulatory complaints with the CFPB (Consumer Financial Protection Bureau) and EU Consumer Protection authorities. Company ID: biz_YO7Pzi7T5gUvQG.

Whop makes payments easy

Whop makes payments easy, even when I have issues with payments, their team is ontop of it and they are super fast, I've processed a good amount and have never had an issue, and if I do, they are super fast as fixing it. Love Whop and will continue to use it.
