Unjustified permanent ban and withholding of funds without any proof
I am extremely disappointed with how Whop handles its creators. My account was suddenly permanently suspended, and all my hard-earned funds were withheld under the claim of "suspicious activity" after a manual review.
When I reached out to support to understand what went wrong, they refused to provide a single transaction ID, any proof, or any specific reason for this decision. I offered to provide full documentation, proof of product/service fulfillment, and absolute identity verification to prove my legitimacy, but the support team rejected any escalation, stating that a "senior member" made a non-negotiable decision.
As a legitimate creator, completely seizing funds without offering a transparent dispute process or showing any evidence is completely unacceptable and feels like an arbitrary seizure of money. I am highly open to cooperating with their compliance or legal team to clear my name, but being completely shut out with canned responses is deeply unprofessional.
Think twice before trusting this platform with your business and revenue, as they can lock you out and take your money instantly without giving you a chance to defend yourself.

Buyers beware
Buyers beware. I live in Florida. Whop applied a 12% sales tax to my orders. The Florida sales tax is 6%. I have been trying to get them to refund the difference for the past three weeks.

I purchased from a Whop seller big mistake
I purchased from a Whop seller. The product was guaranteed 30 refund. There were many issues after it was ordered including double billing. The seller ID Donna's Dresses. I wished I checked Trust Pilot first they have overv30 negative reviews.
The product I was received was a classic bait and switch and return was very expensive. I reached out to Whop. They basically said, sorry seller won't refund. Beware of Whop sellers. The Whop platform seems to be an easy place for scam sellers to do business.

I would strongly advise not using WHOP…
I would strongly advise not using WHOP for credit card processing. They have no idea what they are doing. Lots fees. They do not know how to process chargebacks, refunds, disputes etc. They should not be in credit card processing. They will eventual hold your money for no reason. AND if you have customer service issues the only way to reach them is thorugh an AI agent that is not programmed to handle credit card processing questions. Notice they have no 800 #. Also notice Trustpiot has flagged them for fake reviews. This listing for Trustpilot is loaded with fake reviews. They have been caught writting fake reviews by AI. You have been warned. Read the other reviews. Endles people with problems caused by WHOP with credit card processing. Their massive down fall is everything is run by AI so you will NEVER get your money back. Read all the horror stories here. Please write your experience here. This company should be shutdown.

Account suspended and $967 balance seized with zero chargebacks — labeled "fraud" with no evidence
I run a legitimate digital business (ZD Marketing Digital) and migrated my payments to Whop. After scaling sales through 100% legitimate Meta paid advertising, my account was suspended and my balance of $967.42 was frozen. The account had ZERO chargebacks, ZERO refunds, and ZERO customer disputes — every customer was real and received full delivery of the digital product.
Support (agent "Sergio") labeled the account "fraudulent payment activity," said the decision "cannot be appealed or reversed," refused to identify a single specific transaction they considered fraudulent, refused to cite which Terms of Service section was violated, and then closed the chat. They are now keeping my $967.42 permanently, despite there being no chargebacks, fees, fines, or any liability whatsoever to justify withholding funds.
This appears to be an automated risk flag triggered simply by fast revenue growth on a new account — not by any actual fraud or customer complaint. Offering no evidence, no specific transactions, no appeal, and no accounting for seized funds is not "trust and safety," it's withholding money with no accountability. I have full documentation (ad spend, customer fulfillment logs, complete KYC) and offered all of it. It was ignored.
If you are considering Whop as your payment processor: understand that they are the Merchant of Record, they hold your funds, and they can freeze your balance and label you a fraud with zero evidence and no real appeal process. Have a backup processor and never leave meaningful balance sitting on the platform.
I have submitted a formal dispute under Section 15 of their own Terms of Service and a BBB complaint. I'm happy to update this review if Whop resolves this fairly.

DO NOT USE WHOP - THEY ARE SCAMMERS WHO DON'T EVEN TRY TO RESOLVE ANYTHING
Absolutely terrible experience.
After building my business, I needed a payment processor and I decided to use Whop hoping it would fulfill card payments. I finally started to get customers, and had around 500$ in revenue when Whop suddenly suspended my business for "fraudulent payment activity" and put my funds on hold. There was 0 customer disputes or complaints so I'm not even sure where they got the flag from Despite asking multiple times, nobody would tell me what my business supposedly did wrong.
The worst part was trying to get support. Every response came from an AI agent that kept repeating the same scripted answers over and over again. No matter how many times I asked for clarification or requested to speak with someone who could actually explain the situation, I was met with generic responses that never addressed my questions.
If you're building a business that's looking to use Whop, I highly suggest using a different service. Be aware that if something goes wrong, you may find yourself stuck talking to AI instead of a person who can actually help resolve the issue. I expected much better support and transparency from a platform handling people's businesses.

Whop Inc is stealing my \$350 funds illegally!
I am writing this to warn everyone. Whop froze my $350 balance for 90 days. I waited patiently for the safety period to end, and no customers requested any refunds or chargebacks. Now that the 90 days have passed, Whop support explicitly told me they will not release my money and they will confiscate it. Keeping user funds after the holding period expires is financial theft and illegal fraud under US laws. Do not trust this platform, they will steal your hard-earned money!
Account suspended with no clear explanation and $900 held
I had a very disappointing experience with Whop.
My seller account was suspended and the reason given was “Fraudulent Activity,” but Whop refused to provide a clear explanation or even a basic category-level reason. I was selling coaching and SEO-related services, and I was willing to provide documents, proof of delivery, customer communication, and any verification they needed.
On top of that, around $900 of my funds are currently being held, which makes the situation even more frustrating. I understand that platforms may need to review accounts for security reasons, but holding funds while giving only vague explanations feels unfair and damaging to a small seller.
The problem is not only the suspension itself, but the lack of transparency. When a platform labels an account with something as serious as “fraudulent activity,” they should provide a fair manual review and a clear way to respond. Instead, I received vague answers and no real opportunity to understand or correct the issue.
This has damaged my business and created unnecessary stress. I believe sellers deserve better communication, especially when their account and funds are affected.
I would not recommend Whop to serious sellers unless they improve their review process, transparency, and support communication.
90-Day Hold Ended, But My Remaining Balance Was Never Released
**Balance Held After 90-Day Waiting Period**
My Whop account was suspended, and my remaining balance of approximately $148 was placed on hold for 90 days.
I waited for the entire holding period to pass. After the 90 days ended, I contacted support regarding the release of my remaining funds. Instead of receiving a payout or a detailed explanation of the balance, I was informed that my account would remain suspended indefinitely and that the decision was final.
My concern is not the account suspension itself. My concern is the remaining balance and the lack of clear information regarding what happened to those funds.
I requested clarification regarding whether the balance had been paid out, deducted for refunds or chargebacks, or forfeited under a specific policy. As of now, I have not received a satisfactory explanation.
Based on my experience, I would advise creators to carefully review the platform's policies regarding account suspensions and held balances before using the service.
I did not subscribe to this website or company and my bank has been charged and I cannot unsubscribe! This is criminal! I want a refund!

Whop labeled our legitimate e-commerce business as fraudulent without evidence
On June 19, 2026, we submitted our business information to Whop for verification. Our business, Trendstep, operated by LPS GLOBAL HOLDING LLC, registered in Wyoming, United States, is a legitimate direct-to-consumer e-commerce store selling physical men’s footwear.
We provided a clear business description explaining that we sell physical sneakers, through our official website. We also prepared supporting evidence including product page screenshots, checkout screenshots, paid order records, supplier processing proof, and fulfillment/tracking information.
On June 20, 2026, we recorded and provided additional fulfillment proof showing a real customer order, supplier processing, payment of the order with the fulfillment partner, and tracking information being added to the order.
Despite this, our account was suspended and labeled as related to “fraudulent activity.” We strongly disagree with this classification. We do not sell digital products, subscriptions, financial services, investment products, restricted goods, regulated items, or prohibited services. Our transactions are related to physical footwear sold to end consumers.
When we contacted Whop support, we were told that the decision was final and that no further details could be provided. This is extremely concerning, especially because we were not given a specific transaction, policy clause, evidence, or explanation supporting the allegation.
We requested a manual review and escalation to the appropriate Risk, Compliance, or Legal team, as well as clarification regarding the status of our balance and the reason for any hold or restriction. However, the response we received did not provide a meaningful explanation.
As a business owner, I believe companies should be able to verify merchants, ask for documents, and manage risk. However, suspending a legitimate physical-goods business, labeling it as fraudulent without specific evidence, and refusing to provide a clear explanation is not a fair or transparent process.
We are now preparing to escalate this matter formally and may involve legal counsel if Whop does not provide a proper review, a clear explanation, and clarification regarding our funds.
Account suspended, funds withheld, no evidence presented.
I used Whop to sell digital products and never violated any of its Terms of Service. My account was suspended and my funds were withheld for 120 days. After waiting out the full withholding period, as required, I was informed that my balance would not be released, based on the vague allegation of “fraudulent payment activity”—without any specific evidence being presented.
I requested the exact clause I allegedly violated and the evidence supporting the decision. I received only generic, copy-and-pasted responses stating that the decision was “final and non-appealable.” No concrete evidence was presented. There is no real appeals process.
I did not commit fraud. I did not violate their policies. My funds were seized without justification, without transparency, and without any viable recourse.
If you’re a seller considering using Whop: be aware that they can permanently withhold your earnings, label you as fraudulent, and refuse to show any evidence—with full protection guaranteed by their own Terms of Service. There is no appeal. There is no transparency. There is no accountability.
