I am sometimes careless and have had to reload windows twice, losing everything in the process. AVC was super quick to respond. The second time the code they sent me didn't seem to work. We have used AVC for a good while and finally made a purchase for the Ultimate option. Not really sure why we waited so long! AVC has always been reliable over the long term and it is frequently updated as evidenced from the inclusion of AI features in the newest releases. The paid version is better and we no longer need to worry about whether some features are supported. : ) We also have dealt with support and they have always been responsive as well. Good software. Good support. If you're on the fence... Go for it!!
The best way to describe AVC is the simplicity of use. That's not to say it is inferior in any way far, from it. It's BRILLIANT IN EVERY WAY. It gets the job done - no fuss - no hassle - quickly - and a brilliant end result. This is a great company. I have been using their Any Video Converter Ultimate for over 10 years. I've also recently been using their new Any Video Converter. (Yes, it sounds odd, but "Ultimate" is actually the older tool, and it is still very very useful. On top of the tools, however, their customer service is outstanding! Even if you are using the free version, if you send a message about a problem, you will generally get a response (a response that usually solves your problem) within 24 hours! Further, they are always polite, and genuinely seem eager to help. As I said above, I've been using their tools and help for over 10 years, and I have never been disappointed. BTW, I have degrees in Electrical Engineering & Math, and I did graduate work in Computer Science. I worked in tech for almost 40 years, and this is one of the best companies I have ever run into.
Any Video Converter has been a program I can't live without for several years now. I use it for many different uses. Converting and clipping both audio and video files is easy. Extracting video from a variety of websites is easy. Rendering new video with with added subtitles is easy. Now with the latest version, so many new features: AI image and video generation and audio splitting and video compression are just some of the functions. This is a must have PC tool.

using free version to make a clip from a dashcam video. I have tried to cut a 7 second clip from a 47 second video. Tried after ignoring an update push, didnt work. updated the app to the AI infected version, still didnt work. converted the video to the default setting within the app, still cant make the clip. uselsess.

AVC is superbly priced with the possibility thankfully, to have a lifetime one-off payment, rather than yearly subscription. The software is rich in features, but not a large install. It works very quickly considering it is processing video. For me, it was one of those programs that I had to pay for to unlock more features. I really wanted my own licenced copy. I needed to contact AVC offices twice, and they came back very quickly. I felt very looked after by them. Thanks for a great product and support! George
