No support to cancel the extra fees…
No support to cancel the extra fees hidden at the counter.
Contract must be fixed with no variation at the counter. Customers don’t have to pay misleading behaviour at the counter!
Reply from Authentik Usa2024-09-30
Hi Marco,
It is sometimes impossible for us to have charges removed if you have signed for the acceptance of additional options. We warn our guests of this practice in several places on our website, in car rental confirmations, as well as on our guests' vouchers. :
"Please be aware that if you initial and sign the contract on-site for the addition of an option, it will be impossible for us to have it refunded after your rental. For any concerns regarding these options, please contact us before leaving the branch at 1-877-769-0101''
That being said, "If you would like your rental specialist to contact the renter to inform them of your unfortunate experience and see if they can offer some form of compensation for the issues you encountered, I invite you to write directly to them or to this address: info@authentikcanada, and provide us with as much information as possible about what you experienced and your final invoice. This will help us in our negotiations with them.
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to rectify this situation. We hope to regain your trust and offer you a better experience during your next visit.
Sincerely.

DO NOT book with Authentik USA
DO NOT book with Authentik USA.
We booked a vehicle for our trip and paid over £1,500. They accepted the order and took our money, only to email at a later date that the vehicle wasn’t available despite taking our money. Abysmal service and would not recommend even if you were desperate.
Reply from Authentik Usa2024-05-17
Hello Ellie,
We are sorry that the vehicle you selected was not available. We are directly connected with several of our rental partners. With these partners, we can display real-time availability. However, for some partners, the vehicles are listed as "on request." This means, as clearly stated on our website, that we need to make a request to our partner before confirming the vehicle to our client. The availability of "on request" vehicles fluctuates greatly, and we need a concrete request with a deposit payment to confirm the seriousness of the request. We received a response from our partner less than 24 hours after taking your deposit. We then offered you alternatives that did not meet your satisfaction. Thus, we immediately refunded your card for the full amount.
Our approach is no different from that of all other rental intermediaries.
We hope that these explanations will ease your negative feelings.
Best regards.
Excellente organisation, prestations de qualité, interlocutrice très aimable et disponible. Roadbook parfait

Fantastic experience!
Fantastic experience!
It was the first time in the the US with our 2 kids this august. We planned our trip with Authentic USA, and Charlotte did a great job by preparing a fantastic roadbook for us, for the "Route des Cowboys". She was very helpful all through our final choices. We will recommend Authentic USA . Very serious and helpful travel agency.
Everything was booked perfectly. The RV (camping car) C30 from Cruise America was big enough for the 4 of us to have enough space and was very confortable.
The campings had WIFI, however too many guests in august period, therefore very difficult to get access.
In Bryce canyon, the sunrise was better to be viewed at "Inspiration point" and not "Sunrise point", thanks to the help from the camping owner.

RV and car rental in USA
We rent a car and an RV on the summer 2017 in California / Nevada with Authentik. The person (Laurence) was very kind and helpful and could answer all the questions we had. We recommend.

Constructive Improvement Recommendations.
This is to share our experience on the Cruise America RV that we have used during our holidays last month. We didn't face any issue with the RV itself, but would like to suggest the following improvements;
- Spend more time with the customer at delivery and pick up, as that is not a basic car, and you can't expect that the introduction movie do it all. We felt excessively rushed, like nowhere else on earth, where we did rent RVs in the past.
- Including a GPS should be a given....this is an essential service for any foreigner that you cant just ignore ( a USD30 issue...).

Hi Arnold,
Thank you very much for taking the time to review your experience with Authentik and Cruise America.
Please accept our sincere apologies for your disappointment regarding the RV. We will share your review with Cruise America and make sure they will use your feedback for future improvement.
Once again, thank you !
Best regards !
