Over the objections of my wife and my son, I insisted on seeing Yunnan with a guide in our second-time tour in China. We spent 15 days exploring Kunming, Yuanyang, Xishuangbanna, Dali, Lijiang and Shangri-La with Beijing Holiday Tours. I eared the heard comment "You were right, Mon, to hire a guide from a travel agency." Our guide Matt took us to go go both in the countryside and in the cities, see the beautiful landscapes and out of curiosity to experience the history and cultures of Chinese ethnic minorities, and both have previously been inaccessible to us. After tour, we found Yunnan an overwhelmingly beautiful province with both small, traditional farming and busy cities with Chinese people. Beijing Holiday Tours made it possible.
The organization of our tour was also excellent, and our personal travel advisor Trudy was prompt to reply us via email. She also found a comfortable private car with good driver for us. In addition, most of the hotels were nice. The hotels in Dali and Lijiang were in the ancient town which was convenient for us in night to explore the night scene of the towns.

We have nothing but praise for Beijing Holiday and their staffs. At the very start, we were a bit leary of doing something with a company we had never met, but all of the reviews were so positive on the feedbacks. And we were not disappointed. Their travel expert Trudy responded quicked to our e-mails and patiently worked with us as we explored multiple options and changed our itinerary around several times before finalizing everything - all through the internet. When we arrived in China, they did everything they said they would do. We moved between Beijing, Xian, Guilin, Chongqing, Yangtze River and Shanghai in our 13 days. The trip involved multiple flights and trains, different guides & drivers, different hotels, and all of them were arranged in advance. They always picked us up promptly for activities, took us to the airport, helped us check our luggage and safely make it through airport secutity. Everything worked like clockwork.The guides all spoke very good English and were very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. We have just returned from our holiday in China, arranged by Sophia at Beijing Holiday Tour. We had a fantastic time and our guides were very professional and they really looked after us.We visited Beijing, Shanghai, Xian and Guilin, the most beautiful and famous cities in China, and we all fell in love with the splendid cultural relics and gorgeous scenery in China. Our group of 6 adults and 4 children took a chance and booked our private tour with Beijing Holiday. The best thing we could have done in China. Pan, our excellent guide in Beijing, who was flexible and available to deal with the various situations with us and we learned a lot about Chinese culture and language from hime. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed his company. He also was punctual, fluent in English, courteous and caring. Everywhere, especially while climbing the Wall, he looked out for our comfort and safety, showed us where to take good photos, and efficiently managed our time. Susan, our wonderful guide in Xian, and Aires in Shanghai, made these cities come alive with their insights into the culture and knowledge of their cities. We were thrilled with out guides and all the sights we were able to see in our 8 days trips: 4 days in Beijing, 2 days in Xian and 2 days in Shanghai. In the tour, we were transferred by comfortable 14 seats Toyota Hiace from hotel to sights and from sights to sights. The drivers were experienced and knew hot to get around the traffic in their cities, as we were travelling with our Chinese friends, happy with our guides and drivers.
And Trudy, our trip consultant in Beijing Holiday, was very prompt in all her responses and was patient as well. I appreciate how she was able to make our itinerary our arrangements, allowing for a very smooth tour. I would recommend Beijing Holiday company to make your time in Beijing, Xian and Shanghai, and more enjoyable and best price! Thanks to all of them.
We toured Beijing with BeijingHoliday in August 2014. They did a great job of entertaining us and informing us. Our tour guide, Philip, was so great - big smile and professional action when met us. He had many wonderful qualities as a guide and person, really honest and took great care of us during the trip. Time flies, but I still remember him for his kindness even after half a year.
I can not recommend him and BeijingHoliday team enough. STOP search for others. Put you in them hand, you will enjoy every part.

My husband and I had a chance to visit Beijing and we chose BeijingHoliday tours for our three day trip to Beijing.
Our tour guide Joyce was a fantastic tour guide for our whole three days, and she was so nice and accommodating with in-depth historical knowledge and answering all our questions across-the-board. We followed her suggestions about the delicious restaurants, shopping spots (no commission shopping included in our trip, and we asked her for the advices about our souvenir shop), and night hanging-out places. She treated us really like a family and I could't recommend her more.
The other one who made our trip was Trudy, our travel consultant, and she really did a great job. She arranged an excellent trip itinerary allowing us to see the major sights with skipping the jade shopping detours.
Overall, we think this was the best tour we have ever made so far. They truly made our first trip to Beijing an amazing one! Thank you BeijingHoliday, we wish you the best!
