The device works well for toe lift. We did not get much information or instructions as to how to use it, however. We have gradually acquired knowledge but it would have been very helpful to have someone come out when the device was delivered to go over the app and features.

Great for foot drop but expensive
First, the device works as I thought it would. I had a Bioness device around 2006 and over several years I became sensitive to the electrical stimulation and I quit using it, so I had every reason to believe the device would work and that there would be some improvements. It is much more versetal and more self directed with the iPhone app. I've used it now for a few months. Other than I think the device is overpriced given the technology it has, most of my issues are with insurers, including Medicare. My insurer covers it as out of network, though my physical therapist who wrote the prescription is in network, and I can get an AFO not manufactured in network, though my same PT who prescribes them is in network and my insurer will insure it as in network. I'm at a loss to understand that. Having read what I believe Medicare may cover (not much, if anything) I'm baffled. I'm lucky as I'm financially able to buy it.
