Cunard's QUEEN ELIZABETH Voyage to Alaska 9 to 20 July 2026

We sailed onboard Cunard's QUEEN ELIZABETH for the Alaska cruise from 9 to 20 July 2026. The ship and her crew were fabulous in every respect and a great testimony to the priceless history and special ethos of the unique Cunard brand. This was Cunard at its best and we have enthusiastically booked our next cruise onboard QUEEN ELIZABETH. Queen Victoria

Queen Victoria. Great crew and captain. Standards not as good as Queen Mary or what you would expect from a Cunard vessel. Not the ship's fault, just the voyage and type of passenger.

Totally delightful!

Attention to detail and a very attentive and eager to please staff aboard. Food in the Queens Grille and the Verandah restaurant was extraordinary. The ship has a lovely upscale decor. I particularly enjoyed lectures and concerts during the day at sea. I would be hesitant to use any other cruise line after my Cunard experiences.

For a once in a life time experience

For a once in a life time experience, sail on the Queen Mary 2. It is a beautiful ship, steeped in history, with an excellent staff, wonderful accommodations, fine food, interesting and amiable passengers, great entertainment and activities. You cannot go wrong in booking a trip on Cunard’s Queen Mary 2.

Cunard is our first (and so far ONLY)…

Cunard is our first (and so far ONLY) choice for cruises. We have experienced multiple trips on the QM2, a couple on the QE and one on the Queen Anne. We adore every moment we have spent aboard because being treated like royalty is very easy to get used to. The service is impeccable, the food is incredible and the variety of entertainment provides something for everyone. It is the finest way to travel to or from Europe without jet lag and truly enjoy the experience rather than just survive it!

Excellent service, impressed with Cunard

Just arrived back from a weeks cruise around the western Mediterranean (France and Italy). This was our 3rd cruise and first with Cunard and by some distance the best. The ship is elegant, large enough to have plenty to do without being overwhelming and was very clean both around the ship and in our stateroom. The voyage was made by the friendly staff and impeccable service. The food was excellent, whether the formal dining or the buffet and the drink choice was endless. The cocktails were all made with care and delicious. We didn’t take advantage of the shore excursions as we prefer to explore ports ourselves, but there were plenty available and disembarking was a simple process. The trips were a little expensive too, but there was a wide choice. Can’t recommend Cunard enough and we will definitely cruise with them again.

This was our first cruise on Cunard and…

This was our first cruise on Cunard and wasn’t quite sure what to expect. But our Alaska cruise on the Queen Elizabeth was quite relaxing and enjoyable. If you like Go Go Go energy, Cunard is not a good fit. If you like a slower pace, good food and good service and more gentile entertainment as well as excellent staff you will be happy on Cunard. The evening shows were fantastic the best I have experienced ( I have been on 30 plus cruises and many cruise lines). As for the dress code it is a bit more formal but a nice suit or sport jacket for men will do and woman a nice dress or pants with an evening wear top. You won’t find jeans or sloppy resort wear at dinner and shockingly you don’t see people on their phones at dinner.(which is refreshing). You will find something of interest daily by looking on your daily program. Cunard was a truly a happy,enjoyable, and surprising cruise.

Truly a magical experience

I flew a lot with my job. Now like to take things at a slower pace. Have probably spent a total of 2 years on different cruise companies. Cunard offers a lovely quality experience with a huge amount of public space so you never feel claustrophobic. The crew members truly a credit to their employers. Love the restaurant experience which is very roomy with choice of mixing or eating by yourself. The range of bars and general finishes shout quality.

Already booking my next trip

Just returned from my first trip with Cunard and I’m already about to book my next. It was, without doubt, the best holiday I have ever had. The Queen Mary II is magnificent. The rooms and ship are immaculate. The staff are incredible, so welcoming and warm. From the second you pull up in your car to when you collect it after your holiday and throughout the entire trip. It was perfection. Thank you, Cunard! You have restored my faith in enjoyable, relaxing travel

Perfect in Every Way

The Alaska cruise we ended yesterday was perfect in every way. The only sad thing about it is that they are not continuing this cruse next year. The most surprising thing is that for the first few days I thought that they had only sold half the cabins, there was so much space on board, it was easy to feel we were on a private yacht. Then we found out every cabin was full but it never felt that way. We will definitely be looking at more Cunard cruises in future.

Amazing voyage on Queen Victoria

Entire voyage on Queen Victoria was amazing from beginning to end. Accommodation, staff, service, food and entertainment were all excellent. This was our first cruise and we will definitely be returning to Cunard again.

We celebrated our Golden Wedding…

We celebrated our Golden Wedding Anniversary on the Queen Mary, we were given flowers and champagne in our cabin which was a lovely touch. We both enjoyed our cruise, great staff, great food and a special thanks to the Doctor and staff for the treatment i received. Highly recommended !!!

Awesome Alaska

Our cruise through Alaska was truly memorable. We sailed on the Queen Elizabeth in the Princess Grill stateroom. Our experience was superb. We’d like to thank Sanjay and the whole team in the Princess Grill for making our trip so enjoyable.

The cruise line favors real travel over…

The cruise line favors real travel over mere tourism. The port stops gave us ample time for longer excursions. Exceptional food and service. Ship decor is the best. Do not let the dress code deter you if you aren't big on dressing up. Do it. The naturalist on our ship was exceptional and edifying. The whole experience was delightful.

Outstanding customer service

Due to a serious family illness, we had to cancel our much anticipated cruise. We dealt with a lovely lady called Jasmine, who went over and above to find an acceptable alternative for us. I cannot thank her enough for making what was an incredibly emotional time for us just a little less stressful. Cunard have a loyal customer for life now. Thank you.
