Trinity County Animal Shelter purchased your ceiling mounted tracks for our hoses that we use to clean dogs kennels. We love it! It prevents dragging the hoses on the ground which is messy. The ceiling mounted hose system helps us maintain a more sanitary environment. Works amazingly well. It’s a hit with all the staff and makes cleaning more efficient.
Great customer support, and the product is better than expected! Austin James was a huge help, especially with getting the correct measurements. I always cut things too tight when woodworking and end up having to re-cut, but Austin gave great direction on how to measure and reassured me that I was doing it correctly. Jan Marc gave fantastic support when there was a payment issue on my end (a keystroke error on my part) and helped walk me through how to identify and correct it. Justin Lovely reminded us that the support team would never contact us for private payment information or ask for any additional payment not listed on the quote. After just a couple of emails to ensure dimensions, my order was placed. Curtains came sized as ordered. Great quality, fair price. We're using them to section off a couple of work areas in a large, open, multi-purpose building. Will use them again.
They were very helpful during the planning stage of my purchase. One change had to be made and they made it so easy. Product is top quality and was delivered earlier than promised. 100% to Akon. Everyone there was great.
This is a repeat of my report to a customer service rep with AKON. AKON's order process, pricing, product materials, and customer service is all very good. The trouble I have with AKON is the accuracy of manufacturing to a set of specs provided. AKON apparently is aware of the lack of accuracy with their overseas manufacturer, and states up front that the tarps are to be made to within 1 inch +/- of the ordered spec. My order had about 12 tarps intended to be hung next to each other to enclose a picnic shelter. I had specified the dimensions of each tarp, as well as the placing of the grommets to enable the tarps to be interconnected. My tarps arrived and while all but one was within the 1 inch, the adjoining tarps were sometimes off by a minus .75 inch and then the next one off by a "plus" .75 inch. While this may be fine for a tarp covering a pile of hay, or other utilitarian use, it looks shoddy in a residential setting. The grommet placement was so far off that it appeared no care was taken to even read the spec sheet. For these reasons, I could not recommend AKON to a customer who wishes to have a tarp system in a residential setting or anywhere requiring precision.

In this case, the panels were manufactured according to the specifications, placement details, and dimensional tolerances stated in the approved quote and order documentation. As noted before production, custom-fabricated tarp products may vary by up to one inch from the ordered dimensions. Although the panels were produced within the agreed specifications, we recognize that alternating variations between adjacent panels can be more noticeable in an installation where precise visual alignment is particularly important. We are sorry that the finished appearance did not meet your expectations. For projects where extremely precise alignment between multiple adjoining panels is essential, we encourage customers to discuss this requirement with us before ordering so we can help determine whether the product and manufacturing method are appropriate for the intended application.
I recently had a partial roof built over our deck. I wanted to sit outside during a rainfall but didn't want the rain blowing under the roof and getting me wet. I shopped online for a solution and found Akon Curtains. I ordered one to see if I liked it and it turns out that a month after putting up the first, I ordered a second. My deck is now a wonderful place to watch the rain. And in fair weather, the curtains act as wind blocks if needed. I'm very satisfied.

We purchased several of the retractable barriers and they work perfectly. They are attractive, effective, and easy to install. They also arrived quicker than expected each time.
I would not recommend doing business with Akon Curtains. The curtains I received were supposed to be pre‑drilled, yet half of them arrived without any holes at all. On the ones that were drilled, the holes were placed so low that I had to cut about 1/2" off every single curtain just to make them usable. I was also told that if I wanted to see through the curtains, I needed opaque black material — but you cannot see through them whatsoever. When I reached out for support, they required multiple pictures and then essentially told me there was nothing they would do. The customer service response was dismissive and unhelpful. Additionally, they do not ship their pieces together. Everything arrives separately, sometimes a week apart, which caused unnecessary delays. Overall, poor product quality, inaccurate specifications, and unprofessional customer service. I would not do business with this company again.

I ordered a custom set of chemical curtains for use in the shop with mounting brackets. The communication was great from Akons agent Michael Davis who kept me updated on order status. Everything arrived as to order with prompt delivery. Overall I am very happy with my experience and highly recommend.

We saw these clear heavy duty curtains at a great local bar, the Fillin Station, Beaufort, SC. I contacted them they walked me through our order, kept me informed during the process and delivered them early. The mounting brackets are heavy duty and everything fit perfectly. Highly recommend them.
