Some very sneaky business practices.
Some very sneaky business practices. I got an offer to get $50 to spend on deal dash as a new customer. I went through the signup process. At the end it requests you add a credit card to the account to be able to receive my free $50 offer and start bidding. I figured it made logical sense that a site like this would require a credit card on file. I saw NOTHING indicating it would automatically charging anything to the card I registered. I didn't buy any of their bundles. No notification, no popup message about me making a purchase. Then I get an email saying I was just charged $40 by Deal Dash! If i hadn't gotten the email from my bank,I wouldn't have had a clue they charged me! And I'm sure if I started using the bids they supposedly had given me for free, I wouldn't have been able to request a refund. Which is probably how they get alot of people with these sneaky offers. I had to navigate into the customer service section and choose refunds just to see that i had made a purchase and see the option to request a refund. Thankfully that part went well. But between the shady nature of signing up and getting charged without my permission, and hiding the purchase I made in the customer service sub menus, I couldn't recommend using this service. I bet they make some good money off people who sign up with similar offers and start using their bids right away, without even realizing their cards were charged, because they pressure you to start bidding immediately, with promises of extra $$ worth of bids for diving right in.. Yeah. No thanks. Won't be using their service on principle because of these shady business practices.

What a ripoff. Everything everyone else has said about why this is so underhanded deceptive and scammy is absolutely true. On a personal note their commercials are annoying and absolutely suck.

Hello it’s Me
Hello! Just started playing DD and played my first game and it was awesome!!! My second game was a bit concerning. About 3 hours into bids they had put up NO MORE ENTRIES going into the fourth hour I realized that a player that had been playing in the beginning (DWJ’s) reappeared about 45 minutes later when there was only three players left and it had come down to me and the player who had not played the whole game? It’s not ok that I lost because I am putting money on the table. IMHO this player had a clear advantage to outbidding the last three players. I will walk away from DD. For shame.
