Two of my kids went to Japan/S. Korea…
We sent two of our high school age children on an EF Tour to South Korea and Japan and could not be more pleased with the experience. The process on our end was fairly simple and EF clearly have their systems in place that make everything run smoothly. My kids (one boy and one girl) had an incredible experience that was rich and meaningful. There were a variety of guided cultural experiences, but also opportunities for them to explore areas with unstructured time. My son is already asking about the possibility of participating in a trip next summer!
This company was very open and consistent on their website. The website was very user friendly and i did not have to contact anyone after getting started. Which was so easy and felt very safe using EF Educational Tours. The whole travel went smoothly.
My daughter loved her trip to Iceland. And as a parent, I was thrilled that everything was super organized. When one planned outing had to be canceled, a substitute event was seamlessly planned to take its place. When the return flight home was late in the day, new sightseeing stops and tours were planned with the extra time. I also felt that my kiddo was safe. Great communication. Two thumbs up. She has already booked another trip next summer.
She had a wonderful time. I just wish it was little less expensive. A family shouldn’t have to go into deep debt for the children to experience this trip.

This was my second EF tour. Both were amazing experiences. This trip had a few unexpected and unavoidable travel hiccups, but EF was quick to respond and figure things out. Our group leader and our in country tour guide were wonderful. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful country of Portugal and the friends we made!
I want control over my billing. It’s my credit card and checking accounts NOT yours. I have to customer service to make billing changes.
Now you owe me money because of delays in travel and terrible food at one Italian restaurant the student group ate at.
Hassle Free - I was able to give our students an International Travel experience, with all of my focus on the students while someone else handled the details. It made the entire experience (for both myself and the travelers in my group) stress-free and enjoyable.
I have led many trips with EF and I can always count on them to provide me with the contacts and tools I need to make things easy, fun, and memorable for my students. Their tour directors have been so well prepared and full of energy every time!
Ef Tours knocked the "Germany & the Alps" Tour out of the park! Great hotel selections, AMAZING tour director and bus driver selection, good food options and selection, and AMAZING sights and tours (including a dip into France --- even though it wasn't on the itinerary for this tour---thanks to our resourceful tour director and bus driver)! I highly recommend this tour and EF Tours for your future travel options if this type of travel is your thing.
All staff made all the chaperones and travelers seen and welcomed. They organized the tour with an educational focus at heart not forgetting the little pleasures of free time and good food.
Our tour guide Sakis, made this the best trip possible! I would love to have him as a guide again. He took our safety very seriously and went out of his way to make sure that we had the best experience and were safe at all times, he was so personable and everyone just loved his energy. EF put us in a hotel in Greece that was in a horrible neighborhood, so much so that we couldn't leave the hotel after dark. Now with parents there it helps but what if we had been mostly teens? I would have been livid if my child was there without me and knew they might be in danger. We absolutely LOVED the history, but wished it had been way less shopping, there were several people who didn't have the extra money to shop at every location. 1-4 hours of shopping each stop, was just overboard.

Walking 8-10 miles per day according to step tracker. It was fun but hot. Some days were mostly bus travel days, too bad. Some hotels were better than others. The guide was great. Maybe getting to hotel rooms by 6 or 7 is better than 9-10. Group could use bonding time at hotels in the evenings. EF does a fantastic job taking care of travelers and activities.
