It was very educational and well planned and executed, we visited a lot of important sites and places.
Once in a lifetime experience!
Our tour guide Matt was incredibly knowledgeable! He truly made the whole experience unimaginable. Highlights of Londaon - Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, Piccadilly Circus, St. Paul’s Catherdal, Westminster Abbey, Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, Winchester, Portsmouth, Ferry Ride Highlights of France – Caen, Normandy, Omaha Brach, Brittany, St. Malo, Arromaches, Pointe Du Hoc, American Cemetery in Coleville, Mont-Saint-Michel, St. Vincent Catherdal, Chartres, Versailles, Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame Cathedral, Seine River, Perfume Making France was educational but London was by far my favorite!
We had a wonderful tour guide
We had a wonderful tour guide. Lewis was amazing.
The director and the drivers were great…
The director and the drivers were great and showed our group a lot of Japan in a little time. She was very flexible with the students and made us all feel welcome.
Overall, the trip was great!
The trip was great and we did get to see a lot of wonderful things. The downfall of that is that was a majority of the things we got to experience was limited to 10-20 minutes per site and some of the things were just passing through on the bus. One of the biggest disappointments was St. Patrick's Cathedral, the tour guide we picked up, was adamant that we had to listen to him while inside before we explored. It was loud inside and couldn't hear him very well and he spoke to long and it only left 10 minutes to explore. That was a "main attraction" the tour guide can give all the info on the bus and let us explore when we arrive so that we have more time. There were several other places we got to explore that we only had 20-25 minutes to be there. I understand time is limited but I would rather give up a few drive by places to get to stay longer at bigger "attractions". Our tour guide Fiona was amazing and knowledgeable. My biggest disappoinment was the food situation. The majority of our "included meals" were at the hotel. I can understand doing breakfast at the hotel, but dinner or lunch. Absolutely not. There should also be choice's for lunch/dinner, things that kids will eat. Most kids are not even willing to try something that does not look appealing. I don't like going to eat and having to be served what they cooked and not being able to choice something I might like to try. Also not have the option/choice to purchase something else that might be more appealing to myself or my child. The accommodations were all decent, even when we did not have AC, I understand that the country was having a heat wave and they just don't have AC. Overall, it was a great experience.
England and France July 2026
I was a group leader on this trip. I took my daughter who is 13 on this trip and she had an amazing experience. The hotels and accommodations were better than I expected. All of our tours and local guides were top notch. Our tour director Jens Reinshagen did an incredible job with our group and was able to pivot when plans had to change due to unexpected, but reasonable, travel delays due to traffic incidents and long lines at customs. The only complaints were the amount of time spent on the bus each day and the meals. I understand that with a large group we might need to stay outside of the city center, but with traffic in London and Paris this meant at least 2 hours was spent each day on the bus traveling into and out of the city. Regarding meals, more options would be preferable. Again, I understand that it is difficult to feed 50 people at once, but the dinners on this trip were challenging for the students. Two of the three nights in Paris we were served savory Crepes for dinner and most in the group did not find this acceptable. Other than these minor complaints in was an amazing experience and I would definitely recommend traveling with EF.

Love EF Tours!
We had an amazing time in Italy and it was due to our fantastic tour guide! Everything went smoothly and he made sure we all had what we needed every day. He was very knowledgeable about the cities we visited and their history.
I like the idea that we did a lot
I like the idea that we did a lot. It was a lot to pack in the time we had there but everything was beautiful. Our tour guide was wonderful, always in constant communication with us. It was probably the best experience we have ever had.
EF tours made my daughter first…
EF tours made my daughter first international travel with her schoolmates very memorable. She had so much fun and worth every penny.
Tour guide great- bus driver not so much
Overall it was good. Nour was a great guide and was very professional navigating the group through the sites. However, the bus driver was very inexperienced. He got lost several times and would go in the opposite direction for miles before turning around to go in the right direction. The driver consistently drove way under the speed limit making them late for dinner reservations resulting in the group to miss out on authentic cuisine and experiences. They were late for several activities making them rush around on the limited time they had at those stops. He almost hit several pedestrians and was very disrespectful to Nour. Some of the lodging was in sketchy locations and because they were on their own for dinner they had to use public transportation which put them at risk for pickpockets and intoxicated individuals. The driver wouldn’t drive after 8 PM.

A review from a first time traveler.
The clerical work leading up to the trip can be a lot, especially if it is your first time, but the trip is WELL worth it. It can truly be a transformative experience.
