A Life Experience We'll Never Forget
Organizing a tour for 30 people across three cities and two countries is a daunting task and EF Tours came through with flying colors. Our tour guide, Rossella, was amazing! She was able to adjust to changing needs and conditions (including an unexpected thunderstorm!) and kept the tour on track through it all. The art, the food, and the whole experience exceeded expectations and we're already considering another trip in the future.

Great communication
Great communication, my child LOVED her tour guide, Miguel! He was very engaging and informative. All hotel accommodations were terrific, with the exception of Barcelona. The hotel had mold, shower leaked and balcony door would not lock. Scheduled evening meals were mostly not enjoyed.
The best way to see Europe/UK is through the window of a coach!
Our tour director really made this trip fantastic. Chris was personable. friendly, welcoming and funny. He kept us engaged and on time for the entire trip. I would absolutely recommend EF for a trip experience and Chris as a tour director to anyone who would listen. For my first trip abroad, this was the best way to see a little bit of everything. I can't wait to go back!

They cancelled many of the things the group was suppose to do together, things that were included in the cost. While then having the students pay additionally out of pocket to do different things.

The tour guides and leader were fantastic. I only gave it a 4 because the travel time and lack of sleep were difficult on some days. Flights scheduled to land after midnight before delays makes for short nights.

Overall the your was a fantastic experience for my daughter! Unfortunately EF left the school coordinator on her own at the end of the trip. The 2nd flight home from Belize was cancelled and she was told she had to rebook the flights on her own. There was zero communication or help. Not a great way to end a great trip Mindy
"Adventure in Spain" was great
"Adventure in Spain" was great! The tour was very educational and entertaining. Our tour director was amazing and I would definitely request her again for future tours. Our hotels, food and transportation were all good. Our only issue was being paired with a group that we didn't mesh well with on both sides.

The tour guide was amazing
The tour guide was amazing. Mr. T was very knowledgeable, warm and welcoming. He was more than willing to accommodate us in any way he could and we really appreciated all his help. I would recommend that more attention be focused on individuals who may not have a dietary intolerance but a dietary preference. Also, creation of a database for students who have misbehaved on previous trips to limit them from participating in future trips without a chaperone would be a great idea.

Mediterranean Experience
I traveled with EF Tours on a trip from the United States through Italy, Monaco, France, and Spain, and overall it was a good introduction to European travel, even though there were some clear downsides. Some parts of the trip were truly wonderful. We loved Milan and especially Moneglia and the Cinque Terre area. That part of the trip felt authentic, beautiful, and not overly touristy. Our hotel there was lovely, and the breakfast was very good. Arles was another highlight - quaint, beautiful, and full of charm, with great food as well. We also really enjoyed the Fragonard perfume factory, which was interesting and well done. Nice was also a favorite, especially relaxing on a private beach and enjoying appetizers at a great local restaurant. Barcelona was another stop we enjoyed overall. Our tour director, Claudia, was amazing. She was personable, funny, engaging, and very knowledgeable, and she made a big positive difference in the experience. That said, there were several aspects of the trip that were disappointing. Monaco felt very crowded and tourist-focused, and while it was undeniably beautiful, it did not feel like an authentic experience. I understand that managing a large group can be difficult, but at times the trip felt too structured and rushed. The hotel outside of Nice was especially disappointing - there were gates surrounding it, there was nowhere nearby to get food, and it left us feeling uncomfortable and isolated. We also wished our stay near Barcelona had been closer to the city itself, since Calella had more of a crowded beach-town feel than the kind of atmosphere we were hoping for. Another challenge was that our group was paired with another group that was not a great fit socially, and that created tension throughout the trip. Unfortunately, that negatively affected the experience for both adults and students. We were also very disappointed with the food provided by EF Tours, which was consistently poor enough that by the end of the trip we chose to eat on our own beforehand. Overall, this trip gave us a valuable first experience traveling in Europe, and we made some great memories in places we truly loved. However, because of the hotel quality in certain locations, the group dynamic, and the food, I would not feel comfortable strongly recommending EF Tours to friends.
