The miniware measure pliers is not a good product

Miniware DT71 Mini Digital Tweezers is not switching off automatically when the instrument is set to automatic. The voltage measurement does not work at all. Instead it sequentially displays the Cx- and Lx value and a mV reading when measuring 12V DC. When using the instrument when the + is on -, it says 'negative' and does not display a value. It is 2023 outside! So in total I am really unhappy with this instrument

Order process OK but poor packaging.

Order process OK, but packaging poor. A small circuit board was packaged with book in pouch. Pins on the board were bent in shipping. Board needed protective packaging! The date field will not permit me to edit it to the correct date (Placed on 19 Feb. 2023 22:34:34). FIX YOUR SOFTWARE! Circuit board had only bent pins which I straightened. it is fully functional.

I enjoy the way the magazine and…

I enjoy the way the magazine and website present the information from both an article and project perspective. The projects and the kits based off them are of a high quality and well detailed. As a result I find Elektor in general a great source of learning as well as being an enjoyment to read and where I have the time make the projects.

Great customer service

Great customer service, clear advice and assistance in dealing with delivery issue. Interesting and educational computer project kits, especially the Arduino Uno Experimenting kit, everything you need to get going is included and good value.

I've bought few e-books and kits…

I've bought few e-books and kits recently from Elektor which has always been a positive experience. For one of the purchases there was a software glitch and I had to contact with customer services - the issue was resolved on the same day.

Best company from which to buy applied electronics texts

Don't buy there for shipping outside of EU

In case of shipping to Switzerland, don't buy there! They charge you a lot for the shipping (in my case >10 €) and it is not DDP :-(. I had to pay another 27€ for customs treatment and taxes on delivery. For products of less then 100€ value, it is an expensive experience!!!!

For technical reasons we charge a flat rate for shipping and handling in lieu of variable amounts based on size and/or weight. In some countries the amount for shipping and handling is higher than others because we send everything from our warehouse in the Netherlands. Because 95% of our shipments are standard packages, we use this rate as a starting point. It might therefore be that in exceptional cases you will pay more postage than required for your package. Unfortunately we cannot make any changes to this at this time. In furtherance, this situation provides no basis for compensation. When you live outside the EU and order with us, you do not pay VAT in our webshop. You do pay this to customs when the order arrives in your country. Cindy from Elektor

Goods arrived Thur Jan 19th

Goods arrived - it would have been better to supply a tracking number with the invoice receipt - Australia Post is becoming less reliable.
