Marianne and her colleagues at Exceptional Villas made every step of the planning process easy. Planning a trip for three generations ranging in age from six to seventy is not easy, but their attention to detail and willingness to walk me through everything from our accommodations, meal planning, restaurant recommendations and reservations and other activities made planning a breeze! We are so excited for our trip! I highly recommend Exceptional Villas and would certainly use them again!

The Costaguti apartment was perfection. The property was wonderful. The house book was thorough. Although I wasn’t able to figure out the washer. An image of the panel with explanations of the icons would be helpful. As an art historian I especially appreciated the panels explaining the art. The cleaning staff was great. There were no unpleasant surprises.

Our trip to Villa Marie in Tuscany was absolutely incredible! The Villa was beyond spectacular. I cannot think of one negative aspect of the villa or the staff. Our travel planner, Elaine Donoghue was a true professional. She took such care in attending to all our wants and needs. She made sure each and every detail was perfect. The trip exceeded all of our expectations. I would highly recommend Exceptional Villas and if possible Elaine!

Elaine made our trip perfect! We have traveled many places and usually stay in hotels, but with a multi-generational trip of 9 that wasn't going to work. We had a fabulous time at St Helena’s Villa in Barbados. We went for a family vacation to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. Since there were 16 of us ranging from ages 72 - 3, there were many different needs to be met. Marianne was great in helping out with pre planning logistics, as well as Jennifer in Barbados. The staff at this villa were so awesome and accommodating . Food was absolutely delicious with all home cooked meals - so much better and healthier than restaurant food! They were more than willing to give us what we wanted - having 7 children with us that were swimming, snorkeling, tubing all day ensured they were very hungry. Adrian and chefs were great at helping out with meal planning and anything else we needed . The Villa and cottage were both beautiful and so well maintained. It was lovely to sit every evening at that beautiful table outside - all of us - enjoying dinner together. This was truly a vacation for for everyone! Our family will remember this for years to come……it was perfect! We would highly recommend Exceptional Villas - they really helped us plan a wonderful vacation.

From my first outreach inquiring about our trip, thru booking and ongoing questions all the people I worked with have been beyond amazing and responsive. It made this entire experience amazing and comfortable with planning a trip. I cannot say enough great things about everyone I’ve been in contact with. DO NOT BOOK WITH EXCEPTIONAL VILLAS – MISLEADING, UNHELPFUL, AND INDIFFERENT TO SAFETY We booked Little Bay View House through Exceptional Villas, and it turned out to be one of the worst travel experiences we’ve ever had. The property was dangerous, dirty, and completely misrepresented — and to make matters worse, Exceptional Villas, and specifically our contact Gwladys, were utterly unhelpful when we needed support the most. We stayed only one night, and even that was too long. I was injured when a bathroom door collapsed on me — a shocking and serious safety issue. The home was filthy, with cheap, flimsy furniture that was barely usable. I’m only 5 feet tall and 100 lbs, and even I felt like the chairs and beds were made for children. The property was also not secure — you couldn’t lock both sides of the “villa,” and the advertised “beach access” was a complete lie. The listing was full of misleading information. When we contacted Gwladys at Exceptional Villas for help, she showed zero empathy or accountability. Despite the injury, the unsafe conditions, and false advertising, we were met with dismissive replies and no attempt to resolve anything. They refused to offer a refund, refused to take any responsibility, and made it clear they could not care less. Exceptional Villas is anything but exceptional. Their customer service is nonexistent, their listings are deceptive, and they abandon clients the moment there's a problem. We felt scammed, unsafe, and ignored. Save yourself the risk — book with a company that actually supports their clients and vets their properties. **Since I can’t reply to your comment: the “partial” refund wasn’t even 1/3 of the cost of what we paid when we only stayed one miserable night AND it was issued to us then taken BACK. FRAUD and MISLEADING

We sincerely regret that the villa did not meet your expectations and that you had a less than enjoyable experience. Regarding the refund, we worked tirelessly with the property owner to secure a refund for you. While we were unable to obtain a full refund, we did manage to secure a partial refund in recognition of the issues you faced. This was communicated to you in previous emails, and we hope you understand the efforts we put in to resolve the matter. To confirm, the partial refund you received was not taken back from you. This was issued to you on 18 April 2025 and it is not possible for us to take this back. We have had many guests stay at this villa and, like others, they have expressed how much they loved it. After reading your review, Gwladys personally visited the villa to investigate the concerns raised. We can confidently assure you that the villa was not dirty, and it is not misrepresented in any way on our site. Regarding the beach access, we acknowledge that the villa does not have private beach access, as initially stated in our listing, and we apologize for any confusion this may have caused. However, all other information provided on our website is accurate. During the booking process, Gwladys recommended several villas to you, and you specifically chose this one, indicating your preference and excitement to book it. We are sorry to hear that the bathroom door issue caused you concern. As explained, it is a sliding door, which requires a different method of use than a typical push door. We understand there was a separate issue with the front door, which was in the process of being addressed before you left the villa. Unfortunately, we were not made aware of the situation until after your departure, and therefore, we were unable to assist in resolving the issue for you. We value your feedback, and we take all guest concerns seriously. Your experience was not what we strive to provide, and we will continue to improve our services to ensure all our guests have exceptional stays. Warm regards, Sean
The Villa is spacious and gorgeous, with an ocean view over the infinity pool, nice evening lighting, comfortable rooms. The staff was truly magnificent, creating beautiful and delicious meals according to our preferences, lovely drinks, both cocktails and mocktails. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it, or to stay again. There were 13 of us, and every person was delighted. Exceptional Villas also did an excellent job of preparing us for the experience, always available to answer questions and provide guidance for our time in Puerto Vallarta
