We had some issues with our battery system and contacted Growatt’s UK customer service centre. Their engineer Lingxuan came to our house a few days later and quickly identified and resolved the problem. Very much appreciated!

Battery Firmware update
Jiyane came to look at our battery after we identified that it wasent working properly. After discussing the problem with him, he was able to visit very quickly. He was really attentive and managed to update the firmware on our battery. Nothing was a problem!

By chat in whatsapp, I had a good contact and help from Ayoub. Sometimes when the installation and cabling is done right. The problem exist on another plane. The tension measured between the A en B from the sys com from the inverter was between 3 - 4 V. So Ayoub saw the PROT(ocol) was not set right. Had to be on n1 not on 645. Thanks for the insight and the very late evening work. Giving service is not always easy and it is often busy times for specialists. Thanks.

INVERTER S/N 00CTCG705L FAILED OVER TWO WEEKS AGO INSTALLER CIRCO TECK TELLS ME HE HAS CLAIMED REPLACEMENT AND IS BEING SENT OUT TO ME DIRECT.I HAVE CONTACTED GROWAT THREE TIMES AND AM TOLD THEY HAVE NO KNOWLEGE OF ANY CLAIM BUT DO RECOGNISE THE INVERTER S/N NO 00CTCG705L IS REGESTERED IN MY NAME WHO DO I BELIEVE CAN YOU SORT THIS OUT

The inverter S/N OOCTCG705L is still registered under your account, which means it has not yet been uninstalled. Regarding the warranty claim: The first warranty link was sent to you on 2025-10-22, but it seems you didn’t receive that email, so the link expired after a few days without being submitted. The second warranty link was sent on 2025-10-31, and this time the information was correctly filled in and submitted. Now the warranty process has been activated and is in progress. My CT Stopped working when my EV installation was done by another company. Remotely the Grow what Tech Carolina identified the issue and sent a new CT. With their support I was able to rectify the issue - thank you!

I have a solar system that has broken…
I have a solar system that has broken down. They say the battery is defective and needs to be replaced. A new battery is coming, I pay an electrician to replace it, it still doesn't work. I contact them again, now it's the inverter that needs to be replaced. I have to pay the electrician. I ask to buy the old defective battery, I have to pay full price for a brand new one. They demand that I pack the old battery and old inverter in the packaging from the new equipment and coordinate with the carrier when to put it out to him on a pallet. I'm left with electrician bills, lost production and spent a lot of time completely free of charge on it. I'm a customer, it's not fair that I have to spend time and money on a defective product Don’t but growatt product. Bad service

I have a 2 1/2 year old inverter manufactured by them and they don't even sell parts for it anymore. They act like they're helping the environment but they're not. They're providing junk products that don’t last and now I just have to throw it away and the landfills will get full of their junk. I would never buy anything from this company again. Run away from them. They are selfish and don't care about their customers.

One of the worst companies I’ve had to deal with. The engineers refuse to come to your house and try to get you to fix their system remotely despite it being under warranty. It seems beyond them to comprehend that this is their area of expertise and not mine. Rubbish - avoid.

After a few emails and no replies at all and no way to speak to a human, I can’t leave anything other than a 1 star. If you need anything beyond the installer like the new firmware, you’re going to be found wanting with no support at all. Best to avoid and go with a company that actually supports their products. What a joke. Edit: Of course I actually got a reply to my email off the back of this review. Why push customers to this point before deciding to communicate? Anyway , the reply was non functional and provided nothing of what I asked for. I think these cowboys don’t understand the concept of device ownership. My kit, I can do what I want with it and you do not have any rights to restrict access to hardware that we have purchased outright. Anyway, got nothing from the reply and no follow up emails to me asking for what I needed once again.

Your inverter is an SPH hybrid inverter, which is designed to work specifically with Growatt batteries, as stated in the user manual. We cannot guarantee compatibility with batteries from other brands, since their communication protocols may not be fully compatible . Please also note that many manufacturers do not make their communication protocols public — partly due to commercial and safety logic protection. Additionally, when using Growatt batteries, our technical team can remotely diagnose and retrieve detailed information from the battery if any issue occurs. I had a problem with my Growatt battery…
I had a problem with my Growatt battery and contacted technical support. They were very helpful and tried to fix the problem remotely. Unfortunately that wasn’t possible and I had to have an engineer assess the battery. The battery itself was fine but there seemed to be a problem with the control panel. It was changed and then a system check was done before leaving. So far so good. The engineer contacted me when he left and gave me an estimated arrival time. He was very polite and mannerly. Excellent service
