Would recommend against using this service to everyone. This company only intends on taking peoples money. Charges money to contractors for people shopping you. Representatives assigned to you do not respond to your voicemails. Company does not intend on refunding money. Locked me out of my account so I could not complete any task to get refund, after being told a day after my leads started and trying service for one day could not simply cancel service. This should be a class action lawsuit, I am sure there are others. Currently consulting attorney!!

Please stay away from them, they will try to destroy your company. They have hidden fees and they don’t bring you leads. It’s all scam and fake.

Most recently the pro that was referred was from 90 miles out of town. He did come by my house and looked at the project. He promised a quote that I never received. Previous quotes from home advisor were totally automated online without enough details to possibly get a scope of the projects. Being a customer for 4 years of paying for this service, I just unable to stop auto renew on my online account manager. So I called customer service....TWICE. The representatives can only read from a script and cannot think or make decisions. They cannot direct you to a supervisor, and the only option was to cancel. I HATE THIS SERVICE. Use your local newspaper or phone directory instead.

I went with HomeAdvisor for a roof repair. This experience has been a total nightmare. The person sent took $200.00 for repair material and disappeared. HomeAdvisor declared my job as completed and charged me $577.96. I spent the next 6 wks trying to get my money back. I called them more than 10 times. They always told me they were refunding my money. It never came. I will never use HomeAdvisor OR Angi again.

The company did everything we contracted for. A small addition to the original contract was charged very reasonably. The project was completed within the time frame agreed, and the contractor left the worksite super clean at the end, including some of my own mess. I'm very happy with the quality of the work.

Gabe's Construction & Restoration LLC was a lifesaver! I needed a plumber, but Angi's List estimated $420. It was Friday night and I needed someone first thing Monday morning. A few other plumbers advertised 24/7 service, but it was just an answering service. One said it would be $89 just to come to the house. I called at 10:00 p.m. and Gabe answered the phone. I was a little skeptical at first because it was a construction and restoration service but he did advertise plumbing too, so I went with it. He asked me a few questions and gave me a probable diagnosis right over the phone. He came to the house first thing Monday at no charge to get a complete picture and give me a quote. It turned out to be a bigger job than either of us originally thought but he and his crew fixed it beautifully. They were respectful of my property and cleaned up after themselves. (The handyman had been there the day before and left a little bit of a mess and they even cleaned that up too!) Even though it was bigger job than either of us expected, it only cost $150. Way better than the $420 that Angi's List estimated. I hope that I don't need a plumber ever again, but if I do, I'm calling Gabe's Construction and Restoration. Thanks Gabe!
