I like the access to teachers and the scheduling portion of the app. I find the rest of the app difficult to navigate. I want to be able to look over everything the teacher has sent me plus our chats but frequently can only access the chat from the most recent lesson. I waste a lot of time hunting around the app and don't know why.

It's really nice and easy to use. The only annoying part is that the fees are quite high. There is a percentage they take from the class, of course, as expected + additional transactional fee, e.g., the fee for paying with a credit card is calculated as a percentage of the order, not a flat rate.

I am learning Spanish the way I need to. I am speaking and thinking in Spanish which is the reason I am taking the class. Daren is excellent in his understanding of Spanish and English and promotes this learning in a way that is very kind and useful.

I can see my speaking skills improved after many lessons I have done with my italki teachers. It becomes my habit taking their lessons and feels weird my life without their lessons. Very amazing teachers, always recommend people to take online lessons on italki.

Such a great experience so far. The app is terrific. I appreciate having all of our chats and notes in one place, like the AI enabled features to help me with my studies! Also - I lucked out with my instructor. Maria Baro is fantastic. Cannot say enough great things about her - even though I’m not always able to study and practice each week. I much preferred the old layout. This one is harder to use, having given it a good go. I also hate AI features and feel like I can trust the site less because of it. I will look for tutors elsewhere next time.

I am a student of a master and my mother tong is Spanish. iTalkie he help me with the teachers and be more confident talking and it's so helpful because you can have 2 or more and you can practice with another accent and another point of view of the people.

I mainly use the web browser. The application is sometimes illogical for me, I often don't find the things I am looking for, it is not intuitive. I am happy with the AI summaries italki provides me, though it would be useful for me if the grammar and words part would be searchable separatly, would be useful if I could only practice the grammar. I'd also find it useful if the system showed what level the particular grammar concept is (A1-C2). I like that the system estimates our levels, but I'd be happy if testing for other languages like Chinese were available to get a better estimate of our skills. I am also happy with the booking system. It is so easy to find a time that works for the teacher and for me as well. I hate that I get emails from everything and I don't seem to turn them off. It is just bothersome.

My first tutor disappointed me but she did mention it’s a second job as she wasn’t consistent outside of class in terms of sending what she said she would or followed through with her words so I canned her but turned out to be a blessing in disguise but overall very good, could improve if italki can allow teachers to use PowerPoint or shared screen

I am loving my Spanish classes. The teacher is fantastic and in my region - Andalusia so he understands the way Spanish is spoken here and gives me tips on how to sound more local. The feedback I get is top notch and the lessons match my skill level

Italki used to be a great platform to teach English on before Covid. After Covid, Italki was flooded with English Teachers and ''community tutors''. They need to reduce the number of English teachers so that long-term teachers can get lessons and a chance at instant tutoring.
