I am extremely disappointed with my experience applying to become a Keen Advisor.
I applied in January 2026 and completed every step that Keen requested. In March 2026, I completed the required background check and submitted all the requested information promptly.
Over the following months, I contacted support several times to ask for an update. Each time, I was told that my advisor listing was still in the review queue and that I should continue waiting for an email.
After waiting for approximately seven months, my application was finally rejected without any clear or specific explanation.
I understand that every company has the right to decide who they approve. My disappointment is not because I was rejected—it's because Keen kept me waiting for seven months, required me to complete a background check, repeatedly told me to keep waiting, and then rejected my application without transparency.
I believe applicants deserve timely decisions and honest communication. If my application was not going to be approved, I should have been informed much sooner instead of being kept waiting for months.
Unfortunately, this experience wasted a significant amount of my time and left me feeling that the application process was not handled fairly.

I've been a user for 12 years on Keen
I've been a user for 12 years on Keen. I had a unpleasant experience with an advisor named "Lindsey Akashic reader". I've tried to complain and I get the emails from them unable to further with me. They need my correct email. It's the same never changed and showed them my profile with the right email, still not able to take my complaint. This psychic is unprofessional and muted me in a quick sentence after paying for a reading. So I hung up and called back got her again and she repeated the same info, never apologized and did the same stunt again. I was muted twice not disconnected. She should not be on KEEN for this exact childish unprofessional stunt. She blocked me when I tried to sent a message about the call trying to see if it was technical.
Get her off KEEN she doesn't have the aptitude to be a reader and care about the clients who call in.
KEEN needs to fix their email glitch on my profile is the same but they claim they cannot speak to me due to this. The support is awful and this Company has gone down hill on the these issues.

0 STARS! GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK! DO NOT TRY KEEN
AWFUL. ABSOLUTELY GOD AWFUL. I had a keen account a while ago and forgot the password so I made a new one. I don’t remember it being this bad but I guess a lot can change in 6 years. They rlly just let anybody on that site. I tried 5 psychics, NONE got my situation. Just made stuff up that was completely false. I want my money back IN MY BANK, NOT as credit. Please go out of business

Reviews are fake.
The biggest issue is Keen does not allow people to rate advisors after 7 days and all of their predictions are after 2-3 months. So far, all of the predictions I have received are wrong. Keen is a scam. So, be careful.

I'm changing my rating
I'm changing my rating, only because keen updated my rating on one listing to a five star, and I really appreciate that, because my old good ratings are gone, there is still another listing that is a 3 star, would be great if that could be updated. I am reaching out to clients to leave a review, a lot of them don't. I hope my calls pick up. The last 2 days they have picked up, hoping it continues. I am really good at what I do, and I miss getting my calls. As advisors we really rely on our good ratings, It just looks good.

Not the best experience
As an active advisor, my experience with Keen has been deeply frustrating due to what I feel are misaligned priorities. I felt dismissed by support; after they refused to remove an unfair review that I believed crossed professional boundaries, they asked me if I could post positive feedback for Keen on Trustpilot. This felt insulting when my own reputation on their platform was not being protected. In my daily work, I have found the blocking limits to be stifling, as they do not provide me with the level of control I need to feel comfortable managing difficult callers. I also face penalties for disconnecting from 'one-minute' readings, despite my profiles terms clearly stating how that wouldn’t be the right fit. That’s not a reasonable time frame especially for what’s being asked and the rudeness and back to back one minute calls. This creates a stressful environment where system metrics seem to matter more than advisor well-being. Technically, the platform feels outdated. The app lacks essential features like messaging and review visibility. Also, experienced what appear to be payment delays and fees that I do not see on other advisor platforms. Overall, I feel like an interchangeable part of a system that ignores feedback, and I urge Keen to earn positive reviews by providing better support to the advisors who keep the site running.

Very unsettling company here. They take a estate fee from you monthly once you come in past a certain date, they don’t allow you to block as much as you need to so if you try your best to protect your business and integrity they have made it extremely difficult to do so unfortunately. This site has the most glitches and issues with getting your payment to you at the time it says it should be in I have not experienced this on other platforms before so it’s all quite concerning. They ask you to help them out with their reviews on platforms such as this but forget that they don’t do the same for yours… it’s not like there’s the option for advisor response either. They seem to care about the wrong things and making as much money off of you as they can. I wish I could say something positive but with all the concerns, it’s about honesty first. I do agree with several reviews here. There’s many other insufferable things but too much to put here.

I do not trust a company that will not…
I do not trust a company that will not refund your money ! The first reading I had was so generic - I could have done it myself . The second one was interrupted 3x by dropped call . Even so nothing she said was accurate . I requested a refund as I did not have a proper reading. Their policy is Keen credits only. How many phycics do I have to try to find a genuine one ?

I tried Keen after seeing ads online
I tried Keen after seeing ads online. Thought it might be interesting to get a reading, mostly about career and relationships.
The session itself was… okay I guess. The reader was polite, but a lot of what they said felt very general. Like “you’re going through a transition period” — which could apply to literally anyone.
I spent around $60 for like 20 minutes, and honestly expected something more specific. Some parts felt accurate, but maybe that’s just how it’s worded.
Also pricing is a bit confusing, rates per minute add up very quickly if you’re not paying attention.
Overall not terrible, but I wouldn’t do it again. Feels more like entertainment than actual insight ..

I wish I could come with a better…
I wish I could come with a better review of Keen and Ingenio but I can not. Keen used to be one of the most amazing places to share your skills but now that is not the case. In a grab for more money they are trying to nickel and dime us to death, they are forcing us to talk to clients we do not connect with and therefore can not give a quality readings. They have removed our ability to block customers, I feel (unproven) that they use some sort of autobot to click us and take our bid money. In order to be seen on keen is not based solely on how good you are but more how much you pay for placement. Keen removed a friend of mine from their platform for explaining the legal aspect of being a 1099 contractor and not an employee of Keen. Anyone with $50 bucks can get a keen account and be a paid psychic so there is no testing or interview process. Years ago before the new management and the greed they were a wonderful environment but that has changed and it is no longer so. Their app is horrible and glitches all the time, always site or pay delay issues. Keen us just not the great place it used to be and they are trying to control their advisors like employees instead of independent contractors running their business. Thanks Keen for becoming nothing but greed

I did reading with pyshic Jim stone
I did reading with pyshic Jim stone. He went to work and ended up the session before I got to chance to tell him that I don't have much communication with Marcus. Communication with Marcus sucks. It is very rude to end session with client's when they aren't even finished. That's why I haven't done any readings with Jim stone in awhile. It's big turn off when he does that. I mean I payed for 10 minutes for reading and I didn't even get full 10 mins like I'm supposed to.

Keen is amazing and the best!
Keen is the best platform there is! I’m an Advisor for Keen and working for them has brought so much peace and happiness to my life, I am so grateful! The customers are from all over the world and they are so kind and fun to talk to. I do Medium work, I’m Clairaudient, Clairvoyant, I do Tarot and also read Birth Charts and this has been the best platform for me to utilize my gifts and connect with amazing people.
