Namecheap is not cheap anymore
Namecheap is a great registrar and provide a good hosting service as well. Sadly, Namecheap has a misleading name nowadays. They indeed were a very competitive company years ago but now they have become quite expensive. With my new provider, I pay half the amount I used to pay to Namecheal so I've transferred all my stuff

I recently switched 2 domains and associated emails from GoDaddy to Namecheap because of the ripoff in cost and support. I haven't regretted it at all! Namecheap guided me though what I wanted and now I pay a fraction of the cost using my same email addresses and desktop software applications.
