5 Hours of unexplained downtime. Multiple lies. Can't handle even moderate traffic even after buying a dedicated, high end server. This company is not worth the time and money I wasted on their servers and I am happy to move the hell on. Customer service just lies to you over and over.
7/25 I responded to their private request as if they can't pull my name and phone number and see exactly which account they struggled with for 8 hours straight while they couldn't get their "known bug" to stop breaking my website.
7/25 Response: I understand you fixed it after almost 8 hours of downtime. But that was 8 hours with almost no actual communication, repeatedly your techs would say "Give me 10 minutes to figure it out" and figure nothing out. Repeatedly they told my Technician and I to do things we could not do because the entire access was down. You guys dropped the ball.

I want to give less than one star. I have issue after issue. The customer service is non existent and the technology is 1982. I can’t say one good thing. After I spent hours fixing a problem, they quickly arose the next day. Nothing is ever resolved. I’m beyond angry but what make me more angry is that I have to give this review one star. The time and energy wasted on this and the customer money this has costed me I could have hired NASA, BERN, Larry Ellison, Elon,resurrected Steve Jobs, Einstein and still would have cost me less in time money and effort.

Special thanks to Suzy, Benvenute, Mohamed, Olha, Jeyabrindha, and everyone else who supported me along the way. Each person took the time to understand my situation, provide clear explanations, and guide me step-by-step until the SSL certificate was successfully activated, installed, and verified.

their name is a lie, their domains are not cheap. I stopped the billing on one of my domains because it was just too expensive for me to maintain, yet I was billed.
I've moved all my domains from names cheap, their pricing is not anywhere close to reasonable. their service is very poor, they're billing me for a domain that I've I've canceled.
there are certain much better and economical solutions than a company that calls themselves names cheap.

** Misleading pricing, suspended account, and no meaningful resolution**
I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Namecheap.
Namecheap advertised one price on its website, but the amount I ultimately paid was different. After I made the initial payment, an additional amount was later taken from my account that I was not expecting based on the advertised price.
My account was then suspended. Despite repeatedly contacting support, Namecheap has refused to restore my access and has also refused to refund my money. I paid for a service that I cannot use, and they are still keeping my money.
The login message says to “follow these instructions” to unlock the account, which makes it appear that the link will take customers through an actual recovery or verification process. Instead, it redirects to a general help article that simply tells customers to email the Risk Management department. There is no direct unlock option, no verification form, no case-status information, and no clear resolution timeline.
This situation has also interfered with my job. I have had to spend time during my workday contacting Namecheap and fighting to recover my money, causing me to miss work hours and cutting into my work schedule.
I requested a reasonable resolution: restore my account and correct the additional charge, or refund all of my money. Instead, I have received no meaningful solution.
Namecheap presents this as an account-recovery process, but in practice it is a circular support process that keeps customers locked out, waiting for email responses, and repeatedly fighting for access or a refund. Meanwhile, I have lost work time dealing with a problem that should have been resolved promptly.

time waisters . spend 3 hours to register a domain .... im the end was not . Please do yourself a favor dont use them Life is short. Their customer support is a joke . Completely.. They promice you nonsense they ask a lot of infos and then they block your money 4 ten days . Insured you that the problem is solved . But the domain was still available another platforms and THREE TIMES CHEAPER as well.
U do the math if worth it.
