Operations tend to lag
On my Mac M2 Pro with 16GB RAM, ON1 still lags on most operations. Lightroom and DxO don't.
The 2026 version with AI is now my favorite software.
As a 2019 customer I found the 2026 edition a giant improvement with AI addition. Not perfect, but amazing for some of my old landscape photos. Not great for portraits though. I'm sure that will be improved too. Anyway, I decided to buy the latest version. Everything went well. Happy to be a customer.

I didn’t use the product in anger yet, but access and setup has been a breeze so far, and the support structure seems very robust. So far, I am really pleased with the experience.

Overall, a great product!
Upgrades generally work well. Product features are constantly evolving, however AI improvements take a lot of PC grunt, which may impact users with insufficient RAM and processing power. I periodically still have crashes where the application stops working and needs to be restarted. I would like to see ON1 deliver a release that concentrates on fixing crashes and improving speed, rather than keep adding new functionality. Whilst I have a high-end PC, I still find that loading a photo into edit can still take a while, especially if that photo has already had some edits.
I love the product
I love the product, it's fabulous. I am still only getting to know about the products' attributes, but the one I am familiar with are sensational. So glad to have it. It works so well with Lightroom.

ON1 Photo RAW is the best package for Wildlife. Easy file-handling, most natural denoising, fairest price and best support. I tested all the competitors, but I recommend definitely ON1 Photo RAW.

Very good photo processing app with many features. Many of the features are automated or ai which is great. The presets are great because they make it easy. It does take a while to learn some of the most interesting effects. I highly recommend watching the short tutorials on their website.

Great product!! I’ve been with photoshop since 1990. On1 replaces it and Lightroom. And I own it, at a small fraction of the lease price of Adobe. Happy to leave Adobe behind!!
