Overrated, overpriced and underwhelming
I'm honestly not sure why this hosting service gets so many positive reviews. They do the basics, sure, but that's it. I already pay an insane amount for hosting, but found out the hard way that it doesn't actually get me help. I have to hire someone or pay them for customer service, apparently. And now, they have raised costs again, yet integrated so much AI, it feels scammy. It's like car insurance. The rates keep rising and they win because most people don't have the time, energy or will to seek out a new hosting company. I was one of those people... until now. SiteGround is severely overrated. There are so many more options for better prices. If I'm going to pay for AI garbage, I'll go cheaper.

Outstanding customer support and quick problem resolution I have been hosting my websites with SiteGround for years, and this experience reminded me why I continue to trust them. I needed to create a new staging copy for my WordPress website, but I was getting an SSD space error. The support representative, Kalin Bozhinov, quickly identified the real cause: old staging copies from another website were consuming unnecessary storage.
