Regarding if someone close to you can hear the sounds, that would really depend on how loud you listen to the SleepPhones® as well as how sensitive their ears are. We highly suggest listening to the product at a medium volume level as a high level could cause hearing damage if used for several hours. Dear Martin, Our sincerest apologies you are not satisfied with your purchase! We would suggest moving the Bluetooth® module to the front or side of the head. If moving it to the side, please place it on the opposite side as you sleep on. Many of our customers do move the Bluetooth® module to the front of their heads as this will help with clarity and quality of the Bluetooth® signal and is more comfortable. Dear Thomas, Our sincerest apologies you are not satisfied with your purchase! Having the proper size headband (with a snug fit) is crucial not only for comfort but for sound purposes too. A proper fitting headband will prevent the speakers from sliding around while in use as well as the headband slipping. Having too snug of a headband, however, might cause discomfort as the speakers would be pressing into your ears. We would be happy to exchange your headband for a different size / fabric! If you could please fill out the warranty form found on our site and send it in with your headband, we will send you a new headband to insert your speakers into!
