It took quite a while for this Insta360 X6 cage to arrive as it was out of stock when I ordered it (which was not mentioned on the website), but it shipped quickly once back in stock.
The customer service people were extremely responsive and helpful when I contacted them about the delay.
The cage itself is typical of SmallRig products: sturdy, well designed, perfect fit, light and has a really nice innovation in its little kickstand at the top that flips out and allows you to lay the camera on its side without the lens touching anything. Good for charging or transferring files without the silicone hood on the camera so heat doesn’t build up any more than necessary. There a 1/4-20 threaded mounting hole on the bottom and on one side and a cold shoe on the other for accessories, and a solid double-lock system for removing the camera that should keep it safe during just about any mishap on the road or trail.
There are even little foam mic covers built in to the sides to reduce wind noise (and four extras to replace any that go missing!), a beautiful silicone lens protector and a guitar I’ve seen on a cage; it has pogo pins on the bottom so if you’re connecting to a powered selfie stick, you don’t have to take the camera out of the cage!
True innovation and perfect custom fits, good pricing, every possible accessory for every camera application and customer service second to none is what sets SmallRig apart from everyone else.

ZERO SERVICE, LIES & DECEPTION - MERELY CHASING REVENUE
Ordering parts logged in under Australia and showing in stock to immediately find coming out of China is deceptive and a lie. Then taking weeks to get part order with no ETA on the bulk of items. No response to emails nor online chat and needing to send an ACCC threat which results in an immediate reply advising stocks being issued. Then getting 2 of the 3 outstanding items and then advised some 6wks later we have refunded your money for the battery and source it locally.
I'd never recommend SmallRig nor buy from them again!

Got it this week and shot baseball games all weekend. It’s amazing and quick to set up and gives me peace of mind when switching to my second body that my big glass won’t hit the ground.

Bought two batteries for my Sony camera. They work perfectly, same as the original. Direct USB charging is convenient, and the charge indicator is a huge hit. Highly recommended!

I love this monopod. Feels great on my hands and I feel confident using it. One issue, the screw that goes in the mounting bracket that attaches to lens or camera needs a better L-wrench. Mine is already stripped, please someone contact me so I can buy a second screw or bracket. Thank you. 🙏🏼

I ordered the z axis mount for the Luna ultra. It's nicely made, I do wish it came with another 50 or 20g weight or a heavier spring. The 100g weight suppresses it a bit much even with adjustment and sags a bit much, and without the weight it's super springy even when loosened or tightened. Overall it's made nicely but needs some more customization.
