I ordered two items over 112 days ago…

I ordered two items over 112 days ago and still have nothing. Customer service kept giving me the same copy-and-paste responses with empty promises that someone would contact me soon, but nobody ever did. Paying for shipping protection was a complete waste because they offered no actual protection or support. Now they don’t even respond anymore. I would never order from this company again.

Second Time was a Charm

The online site was very easy to select and order. I was very disappointed with the first pair I could not see distance well or even close up. I was going to return them but I consistently emailed with the team, returned them (free) for an adjustment. The second pair came about a week after the return and they are perfect! A little bit of time and trouble but the savings was significant and I’m very happy with the glasses. I have a small, narrow face and this was one site I was able to find the smaller frames.

Unresolved missing package & damaged goods — weeks of delays

I ordered two pairs of Ray-Ban glasses from Smart buy glasses. One arrived damaged, the other was never received despite UPS marking it as delivered. I paid $20 for Optional Shipping Protection specifically for situations like this. Despite submitting a signed non-receipt declaration and cooperating fully, I have been given nothing but delays and vague "managerial review" responses for weeks. They have now demanded a police report to process a Shipping Protection claim — something I purchased to avoid exactly this kind of ordeal. I have complied and filed one covering both items. Formal complaints have been filed with the Better Business Bureau and Service Nova Scotia Consumer Protection. I am also in the process of escalating this further. I would not recommend purchasing from this company, especially for high-value items. The Optional Shipping Protection appears to be a paid add-on that provides little to no real protection when you actually need it.
