We're sorry that this transaction did not have the outcome either of us hoped for. We understand how frustrating it is when a package's contents cannot be accounted for. To clarify, we did not simply deny payment and close the matter. After receiving the package without the device inside, we filed a USPS claim and subsequent appeal in an effort to recover the value of the missing device. Unfortunately, USPS denied both the claim and the appeal after completing its review. We have also continued to gather additional information regarding the shipment. USPS confirmed that the package weighed 9.76 oz when it was processed as Hazmat on February 8, 2026, which is consistent with the weight of the package when it arrived at our facility. USPS further advised that there were no records indicating the package experienced a separation event while in transit. We purchase thousands of devices from customers across the country each year, and our business depends on treating customers fairly and paying promptly for devices we receive. Unfortunately, because the device was not present when the package was received and the carrier denied reimbursement, we were unable to complete payment for the transaction. We regret that we were unable to reach a different resolution and wish you the best moving forward.
