Online Studies at SNHU was a wonderful experience! The flexibility and support from advisors and staff was amazing! I appreciated the 24/7 access to all the resources available to me! I would definitely recommend SNHU to anyone who worries about time being a factor in order to complete their goals. Thank You SNHU, for helping me complete a long time goal!

Being an online student is hard enough…
Being an online student is hard enough as it is, but made even harder with SNHU, I have found. The instructors all have this copy/paste announcement schedule and grading system for assignments and discussion posts. In all of the notes, announcements, and resources, they claim that students should "feel free to reach out if you have any questions" but if you do as a question, 90% of the time the instructor replies in a condescending way or with a lot of attitude like "maybe if you read this announcement all the way at the bottom you will find an answer to this question."
I do understand that it may be frustrating or repetitive to answer multiple students' questions if it is located somewhere, but answering students questions is your literal job. Also, it would have taken the exact same amount of time to just answer the question as it did to send a snarky email intended to make your student feel stupid. The whole point of online school is that it is advertised as something you can do with a full-time job. And yet you just expect students to read every single word on every announcement, every single page of the policies, and every single letter of the code of conduct, it feels like. Everyone makes mistakes, sometimes you miss a sentence and it should be a fast and easy interaction to send a quick question. You're actually trying to create an environment where the instructors just copy and paste the same crap every term and the students just teach themselves the material. Then punishing the crime of asking a simple question because the instructors think they should never have to interact with their "students."
I don't think I can honestly say a single instructor taught me anything. I read the material. I did my assignments. And I put in the effort to contact my instructors. The instructors here are nothing more than data-entry specialists. I could do it, and still be 100x more interactive with students. I think you really have some issues if a trained monkey can do the tasks the "instructors" do.

Hi, Lex. We're so sorry to hear that you had a negative experience with your instructors. If you would like to share more, you are welcome to send us an email with additional details to [email protected].
To some SHNU is just another college but to me it is the college that allowed me to be the first one in my family to get a college degree. Right now its an associates degree but in the future it will be more. Thank you SNHU!

SNHU was the best option for me
The instructors and the advising staff were the best. Also the online technology was very user friendly. I appreciate the opportunity to attend SNHU and achieve my educational goals as a second career student.

Hi, Jon! We're glad to hear this! Thank you for your review!
SNHU has given me structure I needed while also maintaining enough flexibility to fit it in my schedule. As someone who was working both a part time and a full time job, completing my degree "on time" became possible. The support I received from my advisor and professors was something I didn't even get when I tried attending college in person. Don't let people fool you or tell you it's "just online school," because the rigor, work, and learning are still there. It's real, and it's really changed my life and opportunities I now have access to. Thank you SNHU!

I would rate my graduate experience at SNHU as excellent. It was the most rewarding educational experience because it strengthened my knowledge, expanded my professional skills, and supported my personal and career growth.

Hi, Kim! Thank you for sharing your experience with us!
At SNHU, every project was doable as long as I could keep money for Adobe subscriptions and buy a decent camera (my Sony a6700). The professors and classmates were helpful and we always had immersive discussions. My advisor was attentive and helped me get back in classes when I had three different times of hospital stays. Mostly everyone I've known has graduated with a high G.P.A., including myself (3.91). I didn't get any scholarships, but I got a good amount of grants. Now, my next step is to land a job that's matches my major or concentration (graphic design and media arts with a concentration in 3-D modeling and animation). Now, it's your turn!

Hello, Diamond! Thank you for your review and for sharing your experience with us!
Going back to school is never easy, especially when it's been a few decades. SNHU made me feel like I could do it from the very start. I tried other online programs, but stuck with snhu for their programs, their advising staff and most of all the school itself. Some may think online is easy, it's not. You have to be able to do the work, organize your time and push yourself snhu gives you the direction and tools to do this. In July I start my masters there as well!

I would recommend SNHU to anyone who needs to study online. They are fantastic, your advisor always calls during the month to check how you are doing. They really helped me with all that I needed. I'm now working on my Bachelor's in Accounting.

SNHU does not care about students
I was an online student. During my last year, twice I had a problem completing assignments because I couldn’t access the required applications. One time I was given a 0, the other was just a late fee. Both issues were brought up to the professors and my guidance counselor who both did nothing about it. The former, when I was given a 0, I escalated to the department that handles grading disputes, and they completely shut me down. I asked to be given extra time and to have a different, more competent professor, but they didn’t even try to cooperate or compromise, they just denied it. I felt like I had tried my best to succeed only to be ignored. In hindsight, I would have rather skipped college than go to SNHU.

Not a student
They keep on calling me despite me not going there. I have never applied to there nor any colleges. They keep pushing these guerilla marketing tactics to get you to sign up.
