I absoulutely enjoyed attending SNHU. I completed my Bachelors and Masters degree here and wish they had the PhD program I am now pursuing. My professors were amazing and very helpful when needed. My student advisor Kim was also the best. SNHU will be missed!

An Education That Fit My Life Without Putting It on Hold

My experience with Southern New Hampshire University has been incredibly rewarding. As an adult learner balancing a career, entrepreneurship, family, travel, and everyday life, I needed a program that offered flexibility without sacrificing the quality of my education. SNHU gave me exactly that. What I appreciated most was the ability to structure my coursework around my life while still having clear expectations, deadlines, and support to keep me moving forward. My professors brought different perspectives to the classroom, and I was often able to connect what I was learning directly to situations I had encountered professionally or while building my own business. That made earning my MBA feel practical, not just academic. There were challenging weeks and plenty of late nights, but I never felt that I had to put the rest of my life on hold to finish my degree. SNHU created an environment where completing my MBA felt achievable, even while managing everything else that mattered to me. Graduating from SNHU is an accomplishment I am genuinely proud of. I walked away with more than another credential. I gained knowledge, perspective, and greater confidence in what I can build and accomplish next. For anyone considering returning to school but wondering whether there is room for a degree in an already full life, my experience is proof that it can be done.

Worst school ever whe it comes to…

Worst school ever whe it comes to withdrawal process they set automic payments you do not choose. I am not going back Southern New Hamspire University. The was willing to work with me. I was just frustrated when I wrote this comment. They are not the worst school ever.

They are serious when they say they can…

They are serious when they say they can get you to the finish line. My advisors were amazing and if my direct advisor wasn’t available at the time, they almost always were able to give me the exact information I need. SNHU is super supportive and they help me finish the degree that I so desperately needed to close a certain chapter of my life. Not only that always encouraged me to keep going. So very grateful for SNHU. Not only did I finish a degree, I dug my gpa out of the hole from a 1.0 and graduated with honors as well as inducted into NSLS, I’ll be walking the stage with a 3.6 and with honors. As well as being on the deans list. SNHU changed my life and I’ll forever be grateful for them

Disconnected From Real-World Qualified Talent

I applied to teach at Southern New Hampshire University, bringing 18+ years of professional experience in healthcare operations, including hands-on training, team development, and curriculum-relevant expertise across multi-site clinical and lab environments. I hold a Master's in Public Health, and have led training programs for staff at organizations. The response I received was a generic rejection stating I "did not meet the qualifications" for an adjunct teaching role with no specificity on what was missing, no acknowledgment of the depth of operational and educational experience in my application, and no path for feedback or reconsideration. What's frustrating is the disconnect: SNHU markets itself heavily around real-world applicability and workforce readiness, yet the hiring process for its own instructors seems to filter out exactly the kind of practitioners who could deliver that. If 18-year healthcare operations executive with hands-on training experience doesn't meet the bar, it raises real questions about who does and whether the screening process is actually evaluating substance or just running against a rigid checklist that doesn't reflect practical expertise. For an institution built on flexibility and access, the instructor hiring process felt anything but transparent or merit-based.

Great for non-traditional students seeking their degree

As a non-traditional student returning to finish a degree I began three decades ago at a traditional college, I found SNHU to be the perfect fit for my needs. Completing my work at my own pace, within set terms allowed me the freedom to get my work done when it suited me, with set boundaries for completion of my assignments. I found my instructors helpful and encouraging, and the discussion posts a great way to stay engaged with classmates and synthesize the week’s learning materials. I was able to take ACE courses off-platform to help me complete a bachelor’s degree faster and for less money than I thought possible, while my academic advisor was engaged in helping me pick the right courses suited to my needs. Highly recommend for adults who are self-motivated and seeking a quick route to completing their degree.

My experience at Southern New Hampshire University exceeded my expectations. As an online student, I never felt like I was navigating my educational journey alone. My academic advisors were outstanding. Drew Kennedy consistently checked in with me at the beginning, middle, and end of every term to make sure I was on track and to see if I needed any support. His encouragement and genuine care made a lasting impact. I also want to recognize Shannon McCord, my first advisor, who helped me get established and feel confident as a new student. When she accepted a promotion, she ensured I had a smooth transition to my new advisor, which showed how much she cared about her students’ success. Every instructor I encountered was professional, supportive, and responsive. Emails were answered promptly, expectations were clear, and I always felt respected and encouraged. Although the program was fully online, the faculty and staff created an environment that felt personal and engaging. They were accessible, hands-on, and truly invested in helping students succeed. I recently completed my bachelor’s degree, and I am incredibly grateful for the education, support, and opportunities SNHU provided throughout my journey. I highly recommend Southern New Hampshire University to anyone looking for a flexible, supportive, and student-centered education.

A Great Learning Experience

My experience at SNHU was amazing. I had so many people in my corner during my Academic Journey and I am very grateful for the opportunity of learning something new in life and to know that I could call many different people to help me a long the way. Everyone was hands on from day one. I will never forget the Advisor, Instructor, Academic Coaches and my Peers. Again, I am grateful.

My two years at SNHU have been a great experience. The flexible online learning format made it easy to balance my studies with other responsibilities, and the instructors were supportive and responsive. The coursework was well-structured, practical, and helped me build valuable knowledge and skills. Overall, I appreciate the quality education and positive learning environment SNHU provides.

The Best College Experience

Southern New Hampshire should be the blueprint of how a college motivates and supports there students. I had one of the best councilors that reached out to me every semester to see how I was doing in class, updating me on my progress and motivating me through the experience. They took a lot of the students plate by setting up my classes and having everything lined out for me. I have never had this experience and I have been to two other colleges. Thank you, Southern New Hampshire for all you do!

The main reason I gave 5 stars I the administrative work that SNHU teams handle for you. My advisor registered for classes and checked in frequently so they’re were available if I had questions. The financial aid office is easy to work with and get loans taken care of. Because they handle so much of the admin work, it really allowed me to focus on school and absorb everything in my program. I’m very grateful for the SNHU program, its structure, and their staff.

The flexibility of the online program worked great with my full-time job. The professors were very helpful. The assignments were very straightforward and easy to understand. There was many resources, such as tutoring in the help from professors to get you through the courses. I found the tutorials reading material also very helpful and informative and allowed me to do well through my classes. I learned so much and I definitely look forward to completing more classes.
