Something for Almost Everyone!
Stitch is a fantastic community where you can meet up with other over 50’s to have a meal, take a walk or swim, go dancing, go to the movies or a museum, or just grab a coffee and have a chat. It is not a dating site, although people occasionally form romantic relationships.
Every member is verified and there is a feedback system that rates events, so it ticks the safe environment box.
If you are wanting to get out and about, you won’t be disappointed if you join Stitch. The community is very friendly and supportive, and there is pretty much an activity/event for everyone.

This group helps us feel less lonely and very safe.
This group helps us feel less lonely by encouraging us to get out of the house, do things together, and have fun. I’ve made many good friends through this group, and it’s also a safe and easy way to communicate.

I've met some lovely people and have formed some really nice friendships at alot of events have been to a variety of Resturants and social activities I mix with a few out of STICH on occasions

It's obviously challenging for us to control the behavior of all members, but we do send out reminders to all members about the importance of welcoming new members. The experience was excellent and…
The experience was excellent and informatively detailed. The woman was kind and sincere, eager to help in every way possible.
Stitch is an excellent community to find people to do many kinds of things with. I recently registered to kayak with some members. I've also just created my first activity for an art class. I've attended numerous lunch and dinner events. Most important is the friendships that are made meeting many others in our communitiies

Stitch has been very worthwhile for me. It gets me out of the house when I have free time and meet interesting people and go to venues that are new to me. You are in a safe and supportive environment so you can relax and enjoy yourself

Stitch allows choice; that is, you individually choose which activities you go to. You can do one per week, or 2-3 per day. Also, because there are several Stitch members who put events up, you choose whether to go close to home, to the City, or further afield.
You also get to meet different people.

Stitch has been fantastic
I have attended quite a number of Stitch events and have always been welcomed. I have made some great friends, been to places I wouldn't have otherwise and always felt safe. The Stitch community monitors all interactions to ensure the safety of members. Stitch also supports people in need, who are depressed, alone or isolated.
