We enjoyed our trip to Ecuador and the Galápagos Islands through Vaya Adventures. We were helped by Karla, our guide for the Quito portion of our trip. She met us very late at the airport and arranged the trip to the hotel. She was our guide through Quito the next day and it was a wonderful experience! We visited most of the must see spots in old Quito, a chocolate factory, lunch, and a perfect trip up the cable cars to the wonderful overlook of Quito and the surrounding topography. The hotel was also five star with the most amazing buffet breakfast we have ever experienced. Karla made sure that we arrived at the airport for a flight to the Galapagos and everything went without a hitch. In the Galapagos we were met by our naturalist from Golden Galapagos and had the most amazing 8 days on the Ocean Spray vessel. Vaya is a highly organized company and we highly recommend them if traveling to the Galapagos!
Each person we met and worked with was incredibly kind, patient, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. The experiences were top notch, the food was outstanding, and the accommodations were beautiful. We will absolutely use Vaya again in the future when making our travel plans!

We loved our trip to Patagonia that was planned by Vaya. Everything worked like clockwork - all transfers were on time and drivers were excellent and very friendly; we had contact numbers for Vaya every step of the way and the city guides they assigned to us in Buenos Aires and Santiago were interesting, friendly, extremely knowledgeable and great fun to spend time with. We have recommended Vaya non-stop since our return and we hope to travel with their assistance again.

I have traveled with Vaya many times and have had consistently top-level experiences with them. We have taken trips with them to Chile, Easter Island, Colombia, Namibia, Madagascar, Greece, Galapagos, Argentina, Belize, Indonesia, India and Nepal. They’re terrific travel agents because (1) their agents have been to most places that they are selling and know them well, (2) they are honest in setting expectations and being attentive with works for you, and (3) terrific local partners with consistently top-notch guides. You get experiences that you wouldn’t get otherwise and certainly not on your own. When problems arise, their local people and Vaya are the people you want to help solve them. It’s a great agency for people who like to travel to relatively intrepid places (and others) but in a luxurious way.
We had an exceptional trip to Quito and the western Galapagos aboard the Galaxy Sirius. Vaya planned the entire trip and it was exceptional. I also highly recommend the Galaxy Sirius . It is an outstanding ship with absolutely amazing food and an exceptional staff. A max of 16 passengers and they have two naturalists aboard . It is very clean and modern with fast internet and the friendliest staff.

Gretchen Traut and Vaya worked with us early on, and then planned all the details of our family 10-day trip to the Dolomites this June. We have 15 family members, three generations aged 4 to 80, and wanted an active hiking/biking/culture trip that would accommodate everyone. Vaya did a 5-star job with the itinerary, hotels, transfers, guides and more. We all were all aglow with our memories of the wonderful time we had as it ended.
Vaya's planning & execution for our Norway vacation was exceptional. They were easy to work with to craft a customized itinerary, and all of their recommendations were great additions to our trip. Our trip to Galapagos with Vaya was excellent from beginning to end. Our guide, Victor Hugo, was exceptional in knowledge and personal connections. The ship was exceptionally clean, well organized. Meals were exceptional as well with many options. Food was well balanced and very tasty and very fresh!! I recommend Vaya highly.
